Walgreens Extreme Couponing (Week of 10/7):$5.00 or Less

Walgreens Extreme Couponing (Week of 10/7):$5.00 or Less Welcome to this post where we will lay out some extreme couponing deals that will cost you about $5.00 each week! First, here’s everything you need to know about shopping at Walgreens:

Walgreens allows one manufacturer coupon and one store coupon per product. You may use Walgreens Register Rewards in addition to these coupons. The Register Rewards print like a Catalina on a little machine near the cash register. The most important thing to remember when coupon shopping at Walgreens is that you have to have as many items to purchase as you have coupons, including any Register Rewards you want to use. We often use “filler” (cheap, extra items) so that we have enough items to purchase.

Walgreens has just launched a Balance Rewards Loyalty Program. Click here to read about it. Here you will also find a chart indicating how many rewards dollars you’ll receive when you earn so many points. According to the chart, 1,000 Balance Rewards Points equals $1.00–$1.25, depending on when you choose to cash out your points.

Before shopping at Walgreens, you might want to review the Walgreens How-To Video. Walgreens is certainly the hardest drugstore to shop, but it has the best deals! What I like most is that you can repeat the deals and get more product. The limits are just one per transaction, so you can get more than one item–just don’t clear the shelves! Here’s a link to the coupon policy.

What a bust my Walgreens does not have register rewards for the colgate, there is a coupon in the savings book. (for the colgate for 3 dollars off.) The herbal essence is 3.99 each and the Bisquick is 2.49 each, the only thing I was able to get was the vanish drop ins and I still got the colgate.

The colgate coupons do not seem to be working for me, they state “sorry, please try again later.”

The only thing I have been told (by the cashier) that you dont want to do is to use your balance points if you are expecting to get balance points for an item. You cant use balance points to get balance points. Be careful.

Yes you can. As long as they keep both programs, that is what I will do!

when I use my RR I do not get balance rewards. This has been happening for 3 weeks now. The first 2 weeks it was fine. The last purchase I made I used my only $5 earned because there was no rr or br. I have been sittin at 9000 since the second week.
