This week there are only a couple of Register Rewards promotions at Walgreens. Since it’s tricky to roll rewards, here’s a reminder: If you are using a Register Reward, you cannot use a manufacturer coupon on a filler item. The number of manufacturer coupons and Register Rewards used as payment must be equal to or less than the number of items purchased. To read about how to shop at Walgreens, click here. Then click on the “Walgreens 101″ tab.

I used the Walgreens Coupon of 2/$3 Werther’s Original Hard Candy, Riesen or Toffifay, 2.75 to 5.5 oz OR Lifesavers, Starburst Gummibursts or Skittle 6 to 7.2 oz Limit 4 with a Manufacturer’s Coupon Save $1 on 2 Werther’s Original Hard Candy found in the Sunday Paper (not sure if Red Plum) – So I really got 2 Werther’s Original Hard Candy for $1 Each! :) Great Fillers for Purses or Candy Dish Bowls!

I want to use the Tuna for my filler items at Walgreen’s this wk. If i put in my balance rewards number, do i still need to clip the Walgreen’s coupon from flyer? If i do, will this count as another coupon or does it not count if it is a Walgreen’s own coupon. Thanks to anybody that can help with this question.

as far as I know the walgreen’s coupons do not count in the coupon to product ratio

You still need to clip the in-ad coupon. However, it does not count against you. You only need to have as many or more items than you have MANUFACTURER coupon and Register Rewards used to pay. Walgreens coupons do not count.
