  1. jenette says:

Up until when is the $5 catalina deal good until?

  2. KCL, I truly love you guys and appreciate your hard work and dedication you put into this site, but I must say I am VERY surprised you did not post anything about the FANTASTIC deals at Kroger this week with the $5 Catalina deals. The Betty Crocker Potato money maker for one, and the Pillsbury Toaster Strudel one that comes out to $.50/box after coupons and Catalina when you buy 10. Those are HOT, STOCK-UP deals for sure!

  3. SunnyHavens says:

I made money on Betty Crocker boxed potatoes! Here’s how:
10 for $10 this week or $1 each
    $1 x 10 = $10
    $10 – $5 ($.50/2 MQ doubled $1/2 x 5) = $5
    $5 paid – $10 in Catalinas received ($5 x 2) = $5 MM!!
    OR
    $1 x 5 = $5
    $5 paid – $5 Catalina received = FREE

Even if your family doesn’t eat these, they would make a great food pantry donation!

  4. Wynnde says:

Have any of you had grocerygame membership and cancelled and just used this site? Wondering if I should to save $.

    • Anonymous says:

I don’t think that you can use the site without paying a membership fee. I do know they give an eight week free trial for signing up. I will say there are a lot of sites that will list coupons and store deals in your area for free (TheKrazyCouponLady is a nice one :). It just depends on your preferences.

  5. michelle says:

krogers has suave body loation for 2.67 and with a 2.00 doller coupon i payed .67 cents

  6. Anonymous says:

Kroger has some great deals this week….Totinos pizza 4/ $5 and you get a $5 catalina when you buy 5! so $6.25 for 5 pizzas – $5 catalina = $1.25 for 5 pizzas ….. .25 cents each!!! I know they are not the healthiest food around , but my kids like them!

  7. Jaclyn says:

I have the King Soopers instead of Kroger in my town but I was wondering if there was a limit to how many catalinas you can redeem at one time. I was thinking of doing two of the deals and then using those for another transaction to get $10 off. Can I use as many to pay for my next transaction as I want?

    • couponsanonymous says:

I did mine in multiples of 10. Bought 10 items, used my 2 $5 catalinas, got 2 more, so on and so on. Hope this helps.

      • Jaclyn says:

It does help. I was worried that they catalinas wouldn’t print out 2 at a time if I did ten just because some people said they weren’t for them.

    • Anonymous says:

Since Kroger and affiliates do not give cash back, you can use as many as you have groceries for. An example would be if you had $20 worth of items you can use up to four catalinas.

  8. couponsanonymous says:

I got 30 boxes of BC potatoes, 15 Totino’s pizzas, 33 BC macaroni, 15 Hamburger Helper, 5 boxes of BC cake mix, and 2 BC frosting (not listed in ad, but does qualify for $5 catalina) for $18! Awesome stock up prices! I have numerous Kroger stores in my area. I visited 2 to get all this – planning on hitting up a couple more tonight!

  9. cassandra says:

So will the Catalina deal be good until the 20th?

  10. grace says:

I purchased five items on the list for $5 catalina and I did not work for me nothing printed out for future purchase

    • Anonymous says:

You may have to have customer service print out the catalina for you. Many other Kroger shoppers had the same experience and their CS had to print out their $5 coupon.

  11. jag1tx says:

It’s not in my weekly add (dfw, Tx) good luck!

  12. Meg says:

Worked for me this morning. Got 3.

  13. Katie says:

Is the catalina $5 off the total of a future purchase?

    • Anonymous says:

Yes, it is a $5.00 printout towards your future purchases. As long as you buy 5 participating items.

      • Anonymous says:

Why are none of the $5 OYNO deals listed as hot stock up prices? Wow, there are awesome deals! Some stuff is free, some are only 25 cents, 50 cents etc…I was surprised to see you didn’t have a major mention of this deal!

        • Anonymous says:

That is a great suggestion. This is a great deal to take advantage of this week. Any items offered for that deal differ from store to store along with specialty coupons so not all the deals are able to be put into the weekly ad. However, I will defiantly make more mentions of those this week in the ads.

          • SunnyHavens says:

I agree with brtracey. I was surprised that the $5 Catalina wasn’t factored into the final price as you do with weekly drug store deals.

  14. Barbara says:

So, can you buy 5 totinos pizzas and get the $5 catalina or does it have to be 5 different items?

    • Anonymous says:

Yes as long as they are in the list of participating items for your Kroger. your Kroger should have a list in this Sunday’s ad, and you can look for the specially marked tags on those items.

  15. mogreenxo says:

i have a question about the 5.00 catalina: if i buy 10 items.. do i get 2 $5 catalinas? are the catalinas limited?

    • Anonymous says:

You will receive a $5.00 catalina for every 5 participating items you buy at Kroger. There is no limit.

      • cathy says:

just got back from kroger – bought 20 participating products; nothing printed. CS was nice enough to force 4 $5 prints but couldn’t tell me why it wasnt working

        • Anonymous says:

I am glad they resolved that for you. I wish everything was fixed before you shopped there, but maybe they will have this problem fixed for the next time.

          • jalong says:

THANK YOU SOOO much for explaining things! I have always couponed at Walmart but I am learning that I cannot get very many deals as I would if I doubled my coupons and also used cats. Thank you for helping me out. Now on the Crest toothpaste there is also the same deal on Colgate. But at my Fry’s in AZ the coupon policy says that I can only double 3 like coupons on 3 like items. So if I have to buy 10 in order to get them for $1.00 I do that? The only thing that I could come up with is that I buy 3 colgate, 3 crest and 3 Oral B toothbrushes and actually purchase an extra toothpaste with a coupon that doesn’t double. They are all 10 for $10 but I have no idea if they can be mix and matched ( normally I see a blue sign that says mix and match next to it). Also I know that before I was required to buy 10 in order to get them for $10.00. but that was a different sign and sell. HELP! I am SOOO LOST!! I have been putting in so much work but I have absolutely no money so everything has to be free and I am feeling like I am failing.

            • Andrea.Washington says:

I know that feeling. The beauty of the 10 for $10 is you don’t have to buy 10 items. Each item will only be $1 regardless of how many you buy. Kroger puts 10 for $10 to encourage customers to buy 10 or more of certain products, but you don’t have to buy 10 items to get those sale prices.

            • jalong says:

Awesome thanks for the help! The reason why I asked is because awhile ago my husband and I bought like 17 items in the 10 for $10 and the main thing that I wanted to get the price on (Kraft BBQ sauce…I only bought 6 because of my coupon) didn’t get the sale price. They said that I only bought 17 items and I needed to buy 20 in order to get all of the things for the sale price. But I think that was a different sale because it was mix and match buy 10 items get $5,00 off. I just wasn’t sure if they would do that again on the 10 for $10 sale.

      • crayolagirl says:

Could you buy 5 items, get the $5, and then keep it rolling?

        • Anonymous says:

Some Kroger’s will allow that and some will not. The best thing to do is call your local Kroger and ask the manager what their policy is.

    • vacatdog says:

Went to Kroger today and the catalina would not print on the 2nd order after showing the manager that I did purchase 5 items she told me that she could not print the catalina then she scanned my receipt did something at the register and then handed me $5 in cash!
