  1. carley7073 says:

Has anybody heard about Walmart’s policy change that has taken place last week? This will affect how we coupon at Walmart.

  2. Anonymous says:

Yes, you can use them elsewhere. However, if it stated “Redeem at Walmart” then it’s likely only valid at Walmart.

    • actually you might be able to use them at publix. i asked the cashier yesterday at publix and she said she’s pretty sure, and walmart is a competitor (i guess?!) of theirs, so it wouldnt hurt to call and ask the manager…might expand options!

  3. sophie and ben says:

went to walmart the other day, and they told me they are not taking printable coupons because they are having a lot of problems with them…. is this in every walmart or just mine? what should I do?

    • Anonymous says:

That’s unfortunate! Walmart’s current coupon policy does not state anything like that. It must be just that store.

  4. BabiieMonkiie says:

hi i was wondering what is a SS and a RP represent? are they the same or no…im confused please let me know soon…=]

    • Anonymous says:

SS and RP are our abbreviations for Smart Source and Red Plum. These are the names of newspaper inserts. Do you guest the Sunday newspaper coupons?

    • lorieb says:

One is smart source the other is red plum they are the brand of inserts that are include in most papers

  5. Kristine says:

I had the same problem last time I was there but still haven’t gotten an answer to this either.

  6. ChristinaNoelle says:

Why are my coupons sometimes less in value then what’s posted on KCL? For example the Suave deodorant coupon in my RP insert from this past Sunday is only a 25 cent coupon, not 50 cents as what’s posted in this weeks deals.

  7. Christene Helland says:

does anyone know if Wal-mart will round coupons up to $1.00 with the add from Albertsons????

  8. Karebear1474 says:

Were some of the suave coupons regional? I only got a 25 cents off deodorant and 2/2 suave lotion:(

  9. BusinessChic says:

I’ve been very unhappy with Walmart in regards to using coupons. I had a printed coupon for Edge shave gel. It wouldn’t scan so the clerk told me I couldn’t use it. She said if it didn’t scan then I couldn’t use it.

    • Kristine says:

I have been unhappy with them as well. The new policy is ridiculous. I can understand it a little more with internet coupons, but not with coupons from the news papers..

  10. Dklattrn says:

Maruchan Yakisoba noodles are $1 at dillons (not on sale) and they double the $0.50 coupon to a dollar- makes them free :) giving them to the bro-n-law hes a college kid and enjoys them…

So here is a question….I have coupons where if I buy 1 Suave Pro shampoo and 1 conditioner I can get a free styling product. Can I also use a coupon for 50 cents off two Suave pro products along with it or no?

    • Anonymous says:

According to the Walmart coupon policy, you can’t redeem more than 1 MQ per item. So I’d say that wouldn’t work. Of course, every store varies regarding enforcement.

  12. melsanchez2 says:

I have a question regarding the price matching policy. Can we use coupons with price matching? I found a sale on Yakisoba for $0.50 each. I’d rather go to walmart because it’s much more convenient. Can I price match the yakisoba and use a $0.50 coupon to make them free?

    • Susie says:

It depends on which Walmart you’re at and what cashier and csm you get. Yes, you can price match and use a coupon, but occasionally you will get an employee that tells you different. It’s frustrating.

      • melsanchez2 says:

Thank you. The policy doesn’t say we can’t use both but it also doesn’t say we can use both. I just want to be sure before I go into Walmart and get into a disagreement with the cashier/manager.

        • melissa says:

price match is at all walmart and should not effect the use of any coupons. i do it regularly. do all your price match first when you check out than regular items that are not price matched. i always let the cashier know if i have a B1G1 so they can write the price down. than i give all the coupons at the end. if you ever have an issue have them call a csm if they dont give the go ahead have them call a zms or manager.

    • Anonymous says:

You should read the Ad-Match policy first. Walmart will match a price that’s listed in a local competitor’s ad. Is this Yakisoba sale price listed in a local competitor’s ad? If not, it likely will not work. The policy is here: http://corporate.walmart.com/ad-match-guarantee

    • melsanchez2 says:

I do have a copy of the price match policy thank you. The yakisoba sale is listed in a local competitor’s ad. I’m just concerned with trying to price match and use coupons because the policy doesn’t state whether or not it is allowed.

  13. melsanchez2 says:

If you live near a foodtown the yakisoba’s are on sale this week 2 for $1.00. Use $0.50 coupon and it’s free! :)

I found a couple of great deals in the Clearance section at Walmart this week. Centrum Pronutrients Fruit and Veggie Vitamins were priced at $2.50 each. I used the $5/1 coupon from todays paper making it a $2.50 moneymaker. There were also U Build Monopoly, Sorry, and Connect 4 marked $5 each, and Travel Battleship for $4. With the $4/2 printable that makes them $3 and $2 each. I used the overage from the Centrum to make an even better deal. My purchase was:
    11 pkgs. Centrum Pronutrients
    5 U Build Monopoly
    3 U Build Sorry
    3 U Build Connect 4
    1 Travel Battleship
    Clearance Price Before Coupons: $86.50
    I used:
    7 $5/1 Centrum Pronutrients
    2 $7/2 Centrum Printable
    3 $4/2 Monopoly, etc. Printable
    3 $4/2 Connect 4 etc. Printable
Total After Coupons: $13.50 +tax for 11 packages of Vitamins and 12 Board Games!!!!!
