i had a really bad experience at my rite aid today ! i think we should all get together and start writing to them on their facebook. i got all kinds of REvlon i had 10 5.0 coupon i had saved as the store is getting literally empty, so i had to go to another rite aid and used them all using my card and my mothers. 2 diff houses. i noticed after i bought 4 revlon i only got 1/$6.00 up rewards and mentioned it to the cashier and he suggested i should call since i was missing 0.01 in order to get the other 6.00 +-up r. so i did and they said RA no longer rounds up that penny! which in my opinion its ridiculous, because i would have to buy another at regular price to get that 6.00 but by then it would not be a such a good deal anymore! i called customer service and i threaten with returning it all and she said ok just go to your RA and return it. wow!!!!! so i went back and tried to return it at my local since the one i bough it at is far walking- and to my surprise the manager there said all the well-ness coupons i had used plus the 10/$5.00 revlon coupons would go to waste now i would only get what i actually paid in cash! off course i disagree i asked if he could give me at least a store credit or gift card with the amount for all the coupons he said no! but this is the 2nd time i return something i said, he didn’t care! for 1 darn penny!!!!!! i noticed that most of their sales are in that particular way! they just changed it!!!!!! the manager said) so the brushes(arm and hammer) were spend 10.00 get 1/5.00 up reward i bought 4 only got 2 /5.00 up rewards…. this is how they are getting us to spend more! i think i’ll stop buying these type of items. they would rather loose customers than a few pennies here and there! Walgreens is fairly new now a target open up last week! well see….. sorry i needed to vent out a little and didn’t know where! i think is not right….

I haven’t been Rite Aid-ing very long, so someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe Rite Aid’s coupon policy is that they don’t return the value of a coupon to you on a product return and they consider UP rewards coupons, so that is why you were only going to get the value of what you paid OOP if you returned the items. We may not like it or think it’s fair, but that’s their policy. Also, not to be the coupon police, but you used the $5.00/1 Revlon coupons today? Because those expired two days ago.

I tried to do the Purex deal that was mentioned here the other day and did not receive an up reward. I’d paid for the $8 purchase with a 7 up reward. I told the cashier that I wanted to return and he said ok and gave me cash back. I guess it just depends. I find that the young males are always very helpful and patient when couponing.

I usually pick younger guys when I have coupons. They just have a “just passing the time” additude, whereas I find that female employees give me dirty looks or slowly read everything to make sure I’m not trying to scam them. And I’m not even an “extreme” couponer. I’ve probably had at the most “extreme” 10 coupons at a time and never have multiple transactions.

Every Rite Aid that I’ve returned products bought with coupons and Ups have either given me cash or store credit. If they don’t they are getting paid for the coupons even though you didn’t purchase anything, I would call corporate on that one.

  7. cst says:

It is actually free at Rite Aid if you have the Bonus Ad Insert. 2 for $5 and get $3 + Up. Use the $2.00 off 2 coupon.

  8. new says:

Rite aid has a better deal 2 for $5 and they give $2 reward .
