i have points on recycle bank but i can’t figure out how to print a coupon from there

  2. monichip says:

Hi. Does anyone know how to check the expiration date of the % off coupon if it is loaded to my card. When I do this, I can’t see it on my CVS web account, but when I get to the store, it is on there.I just never know when it will expire…A little frustrating.

    • Anonymous says:

These percent off coupons expire 4 days after you print them or load them to your card. Also, when you go to CVS and scan your card at the coupon machine, it will give you a printout saying when your 25% off expires.

  3. Krizza says:

Thanks! This is actually what im looking for. I dont receive the $4 off $20 so thanks again :)

  4. lujulian says:

For the glade candles you say to buy 5 but that only comes to 19.95. If we need to purchase 20.00 worth to get the EB. Do I need to purchase 6 then or does CVS round to the nearest dollar? Also, recycle bank allowed me to purchase more that 1 coupon and I was able to print each one twice, can I use 5 1/1 coupons from recyclebank?

    Thank you

    • Anonymous says:

You can use 5 coupons from recyclebank IF you could get that many. Unfortunately, most coupons that print from RB limit you to one. And even if they allow more, it will probably max out at 2 per computer & account, like other coupon sites.

CVS has a nice caveat to their threshold rules. If you reach 98% of the total, you will trigger the ExtraBucks reward. It’s a lovely thing!

      • lujulian says:

that is a lovely thing…..thank you. I was able to buy 3 glade coupons and the system allowed me to print 2 each, making that a total of 6 coupons……maybe its a glitch in their system.

  5. rora1313 says:

I’m in Los Angeles and my CVS had the Gillette razors for $8.29 with $3 EBs. Not so much of a MoneyMaker for me but still a good deal.

  6. recumbentrider says:

Here’s how I used my %’s off coupons! I decide to just do one BIG transaction.. i think it’s more easy that way. Plus it helps absorb some of the “reducing” effect on the % off coupon(s)..

    Here’s what I got!

    Sale Items
Nivea Lip care 0.17-0.2 oz 2/$5
Olay daily facials cloths or cleanser $4.49

    Planters Peanuts 2/$7
    Wheat Thins 2/$5
    Hershey’s Candy 6pk $1/1 x 4 = $5 **
    Clorox Bleach 2/$4
    Clorox Wipes 2/$5
    Clorox Gel 2/$4 x 3 = $6
Waffer cookies $1 (for me )
Jack Links beef jerky $1 (for DS)

    (sale price total = $52.49)

    Non Sale Items:
    DermaSilk $29.99
    L’oreal Shampoo/Conditioner $6.99 ea (x 2 = $13.98)
    Schick razor $12.79
    Schick cartridges $16.99
    Glade Expressions Mist $5.29
    Glade Twin Oil Refills $6.39
    Glade Candle $3.99
Glade Sense & Spray refill $4.19
    Hallmark $1.99 x 3 = $2.97
    Sunflower seeds $1.99 (for DS)

    (non sale total = $98.57)

    Combined total $151.06

    -$10/$50 (x3) CRT
    -$3/2 Nivea lip MQ
    -$3/1 Olay CRT
    -$2/1 Olay MQ
    -$1/5 Hershey 6pk
    -$0.55/1 Clorox — (x 3) (Peelie! Found Today!!)
    -$10/1 DremaSilk (fb, mq)
    -$2/1 L’Oreal (x2)
    -$6/1 Schick Refill MQ
    -$12.79 Schick Bogo MQ
-$4.49 Glade Buy Twin Oil Refill get Expressions Mist “free” MQ
    -$1/1 Glade candle (recyclebank)
-$1/1 Glade sense and spray refill (recyclebank)
    -$2/3 Hallmark Cards (fb, mq)
    (total coupons value = 81.93)

    total after coupons = $69.13

    -$20.49 — 25%
    -$12.29 — 20%

Total After All Coupons = $36.35

    used – $33.50 in regular ECBs + $1.00 GBT

    final =$1.85 + tax*

but real total was $3.85 + $4.46 tax = $8.31 ** I dunno know why.. I read the Hallmark adds $2 instead of deducting!

    Earned ECBS $3 Cearal, $5 Clorox, $10 Dermasilk, $5 L’oreal, $8 Schick, $10 Glade, $3 Hallmark, = $44 ECB’s** back in all

Earned Beauty Club Reward ($53.46 worth) !!!!

    Receipt says I saved over $173 !!!

**I was expecting another $5 eb for the candy/wheat thins/planters deal but it didn’t count the candy.. i dunno know but I’m pretty sure it’s tag. i’ll probably just get something else and get the eb that way.. I’m only $2 away.

Im new to CVS couponing and finds it complicated. Did you bought this all in one transaction? or two? As i see you seperated the non sale items and the sale items. so used the 25% coupon for the non sale and $20 for the sale item? sorry just wanna understand how couponing at cvs works.

      • Anonymous says:

Krizza – CVS can be as complicated or as simple as you’d like. Recumbentrider is a pretty experienced couponer and she’s learned how to maximize her savings. But you can score many great deals one at a time, just using one coupon on an item that earns ExtraBucks. Turn around and do the same for another, but use the ExtraBucks to pay for the next!

        • Krizza says:

thank you! glad your site is fixed. :) Can i use the 25% off coupon to purchase the pantene? it produces extra bucks.

          • Anonymous says:

Unfortunately, no. It is a sale price this week. The percent-off coupons will only apply to items that are being sold at regular price. Hope that helps!

    • Anonymous says:

      Amazing!! Thanks for sharing!

    • brittness22 says:

Thanks for sharing! I am planning my trip and I’m a bit stuck…how did you use the Schick BOGO and the $6/1 refill? Wouldn’t the BOGO count toward both the items? Thanks! PS-your post has helped me a lot :)

  7. LaDonna says:

There are a couple of other good deals with the 25% coupon:
If you store carries the $19.99 DermaSilk items, use 25% off and $5/1 from RP 10/7 or 10/21 to pay $9.99 and receive $10 EB.
The Schick Hydro Refill and Razor, use 25% off and BOGO up to $12.99 to pay $9.87 and receive $8 EB.
The greeting cards are regular priced, too. I cannot remember if they are excluded from the 25% off, though.

    • Anonymous says:

Thanks LaDonna! There are quite a few options this week, I just highlighted a few. Anything listed in the weekly matchup as “regular price” will be eligible for the percent-off coupon!

  8. swetsuga says:

so if i was to get the john freida i will be able to use it. I read it and i understood it. But since the john freida is not a “sale item” then i will be able to use it, right?

  9. swetsuga says:

i meant to say that they will NOT let me use the 20%

    • recumbentrider says:

Please go to the link above “Percent-off tutorial to learn all about how CVS Percent-Off Coupons work!” .. it’s in the FAQ :)

    • Anonymous says:

If they are simply not letting you use it, you should call corporate and let them know. If they are telling you how it can be used, be sure to visit the link in our post for a full tutorial on how you can use the coupon.

  10. swetsuga says:

My CVS will let us use the 20%. What do I need to do for them to let me use it?

  11. Who knows says:

I have not gotten any CVS emails what should I do…

  12. crazy girl says:

can i used 25% coupon for the st. joseph aspirin?

  13. maria says:

Hi KCL im new to this If the total for glade product is $19.95, could you get the 10 EB since the total is only $19.95 and is requiring $20 …thanks!

    • recumbentrider says:

it would work because of what we call the 98% rule… if your purchase comes within 98% off the purchase required to earned the ECBs.. it will print!
In this case, if your have $19.60 worth of glade products.. your good to go!

      • maria says:

thanks for the info recumbentrider that’s very helpful info…another question is if i buy 6 post honey bunch and use (3) $1/2, will i get both the 3EB for (buy 3) and $5 for ( buy $15 get $ 5EB) ? thanks

        • maria says:

          will i get (2) $3 EB = $6, and the $5 for purchasing $15 worth? thanks

        • recumbentrider says:

          your welcome :)

I wasn’t aware of a $5 ecb for $15 worth.. but that would be “double dipping”.. and CVS registers won’t allow that.. you’ll get one or the other.

  14. recumbentrider says:

John Frieda Hair Color is actually a unadvertised sale price ($11.99) … J Frieda hair care is *regular price* though! and still matches up well with the MQs available and the % off and ecbs back!

Be sure to check the tags in store.. to make sure it’s sale or nonsale!

    • Anonymous says:

Thanks! Will be updating the deal here :)

      • recumbentrider says:

your welcome! It went on sale last week.. I was so sad I couldn’t use the % off with it :( … the the frizz ease and shampoo and conditioner worked out to be a good dea thoughl! :)

I think the hair color will be on sale till the 27th btw!

        • Anonymous says:

Moneymaker on the Frizz-Ease with the %-off! :)

          • joyjoy1417 says:

Yes but with all the great deals we’ve been having on shampoo, conditioner, and styler, I’m pretty well stocked. The hair coloring would have been a nice change. Oh well. Can’t complain if they’re a Moneymaker or free but my BF surely will. Lol.

    • joyjoy1417 says:

Oh well. Thanks for the info. The frizz ease was originally my choice and then I saw KCL post this deal. :( I will go back to my original frizz ease deal.

  15. marienrissa2012 says:

Thanks kcl..I have a question. Can we do all these deals in one transaction and still pay the same amount you posted above off with the 25% coupon?

    • Anonymous says:

Yes. I suggest putting all of your percent-off eligible items in one transaction, since you only have one coupon ;)

  16. joyjoy1417 says:

Nice. I just found 2 $1/1 any hair color that I got from MCM a few weeks back that I can stack with the John Frieda deal. I have to say that when I started couponing earlier this year, I never used the % coupon. Didn’t understand how to use them. Now, I soooo look forward to opening my mailbox on Thursdays!!

  17. Jessica says:

I never ever get these coupons. Boo :(

    • joyjoy1417 says:

I really don’t understand how they determine who gets these coupons. I wonder if they factor how often you use them when they send it to you. In the beginning, I rarely used mine. Same with the $10/$50 coupon. I would only get them 1-2 a month but often never used it. Now, I get them almost every week (Knock on wood it continues!) and always use it.

    • says:

      me either… = (

can you use the $2/2 off glade seasonal and the buy one jar get expressions diffuser for free?

    • noetab says:

There is no diffuser in my store when they had this glade sale before.
yes you can use those coupons as long as you buy 4 glade products

    • Anonymous says:

You cannot use a $ off coupon on an item that has been made free by another coupon. Per CVS policy, in general, you could buy 4 items, get 2 free with the BOGO coupons, and apply the $2/2 to the two you’re buying. HOWEVER, more and more we are seeing coupons whose wording prohibits this stacking. Take a close look at your coupons to be sure they don’t include wording like “one per purchase of QUANTITIES SPECIFIED.”

    • Anonymous says:

I was thinking of using the same $2/2 coupon. Your CVS has to carry the season scents to use it, though. I plan on checking it out.
