Staples Coupon Deals: Week of 10/26

Here are the deals this week at Staples. Their ad is a little different this week as prices are valid from 10/26 – 11/3. I can’t wait to snag some free pens! Happy “Stapling.”

Staples has a Reward Program that gives you money back on the items most people use frequently. Staples rewards you 10% of your purchase on ink, toner, paper, and copy and print items. You can earn an unlimited 10% back on qualifying purchases when you earn at least $10 in rewards for a calendar quarter. Every month the rewards are issued when the value of the rewards has reached at least $10. They roll month to month if the balance has not reached $10, but they expire if that amount has not been reached in a quarter.  These can be redeemed through their online store, phone orders and any Staples store.

I went to the Staples near me to take advantage of the .50 cent pens. I had 2 $1.00/2 any bic products. They said it was a limit of two pens for the .50 cent price. The cashier was very helpful and I did two transactions and paid .14 cents for 4 packs of the pens. Thank You KCL!

  2. Eileen says:

Store manager told me I couldn’t use the coupon in the pens because the coupon states that it isn’t valid with any other offer and the pens are discounted. I was annoyed. Am I wrong or was he?

I’ve gone to Staples when they had Sharpies BOGO and used competitors coupons to get over $30 of markers for free. And this was acceptable at multiple stores that I called/visited. According to my experience, you were in the right but I can not find any info online to back you up. In fact, I can’t find Staples in-store coupon policy, only their online coupon policy.

This is not true at all. I would have them call while you are there and verify with customer service or another manager. I have shopped at Staples for years and never had a problem using coupons on sale and even clearance items. I don’t like trying to use manufacturer’s coupons at Staples (it’s a real pain!) so I usually wait for a sale at Target or Walmart, but to say you *can’t* is false.

I have a Stapled Reward about to expire…if I use it on one of the Rebate Items, will I still get the full rebate amt?

    • Cori Morris says:

Yes! I do this all the time and that’s why Staples is my favorite office supply store. I use my rewards to buy the rebate items and use my rebate $ to buy the 100% back in rewards. The only time I’ve got a discounted amount back on a rebate was last week when I used a manufacturer coupon they couldn’t figure out how to put in so they just price-adjusted the item and I only got that amount on my rebate. Hope that helps.

There’s a 20% off one item staples coupon that expires today. You can use it to get 2 of the photo papers free after rebate :-)

    • Anonymous says:

I basically spent $2+tax on 2 reams of copy paper, 2 packs of photo paper, and 2 packs of pens after coupons and rebates.

  5. themommyliza says:

Just wondering why the ream of copy paper was considered stock-up price, but the photo paper wasn’t.

Also, I’ve used manu coupons at Staples before with no problems. Probably a case of manager not knowing store policy, BK.

  6. BK says:

Staples does not accept coupons where I am at. And I have been told by the store manager that none of the Staples accept coupons except their own.

    • corimorris says:

Not true! I have to say I find it a pain to use manufacturer’s coupons at Staples (I’d rather wait for a sale at Target), but I’ve never had them NOT accept them.

I went to Staples and got the pens (limit 2) and 4 reams of paper, I already got my rewards submitted and $23.96 getting back to me, thanks KCL!

I went to Staples today to snag this deal because I go through A LOT of pens at work and I was bummed to find out that only the first 2 packs of pens are .50! After that they are the regular price of $1.99. you can try separating into differant transactions and hopefully they will let you stock up but I didnt have time to try that today. But I will go back :)
