Our Kroger’s Jolly Green Giant’s frozen Vegetables on the Broccoli and Cheese package has a $1.00 off of three coupon on it. That comes out to about $0.66 a box.

  2. Anonymous says:

Yes those are fantastic coupons, hope you find great shopping deals with them.

  3. Megan says:

At Kroger this week, the toothpaste deal, I have the coupons but I noticed it excludes certain types which were the ones on sale. Am I wrong? I’m gonna be so sad if I don’t get them!

    • Valpal says:

Megan, I also noticed the restrictions on the cheaper Crest. So I was unable to use the Crest coupon I had. But, I did use the $1.00 off 2 Colgate coupon I had from a few papers ago and I was able to get 10 tubes for $5.00. Not free, but 50% off is better than nothing.

  4. XenaWP says:

Great advice Tara! Yes, make sure you don’t add any digital coupons to your card that you have in print. Digital coupons do not double where as a lot of your paper ones will. Which can mean a difference of many $$$.

  5. clippingcutie says:

Hi guys! I’m super new at this and have a question. Can you use a coupon that doubles if you have the same number of coupons as products. I noticed that Carnation Evaporated Milk will by 19 cents if the coupon is doubled but more if you purchase three. Why is this? If you have coupons for each one won’t they all be 19 cents? Why is it different if you purchase three? Hopefully this question makes sense! Thanks in advance for helping a newbie out!

    • Anonymous says:

The Carnation coupon is for two items per coupon, so if you only buy three you will not pay $0.19 for each one. you would need to buy the Evaporated Milk in increments of two you will get the $0.19 price on each can.

  6. Amber says:

I can’t find the kleenex coupon on any of those 3 sites listed above. Can anyone help?

    • Anonymous says:

Try this Newspaper coupon $0.30/3 Kleenex Boxes, 50 ct or larger or (1) Bundle Pack, excludes trial size from SS 11/4 (exp 12/2). Hope that helps!

  7. <>Heidy<> says:

Reffering to the deal below….Pepsi is a Dr Pepper product?

Use $1.00/1 Dr. Pepper Cans,12 ct or 24 ct or $1.00/2 Dr. Pepper Diet or TEN, 2 L from SS 10/7 (exp 11/30)
Final Price: $0.39 each, when you buy 2

    • Anonymous says:

Yes Dr. Pepper is a pepsi product, so it would also be on sale this week with the pepsi.

      • Valpal says:

Make sure you check this. My Kroger had every Pepsi product EXCEPT Dr. Pepper in the $5/10 items sale. It was on sale for $1.19, though.

  8. Amber says:

In AZ Fry’s there’s Hormel Chili with beans included into this promotion. There was a coupon for .50/2, doubling to $1/2.
Is it a good deal, KLC, to pay .50 per a can of chili? Is it a stock up or better pass on it? TIA.

  9. nd says:

Is dawn dish detergent on sale this week? I heard it was but it’s not in the ad.

    • Anonymous says:

Yes it is part of the Mega Sale, it just wasn’t in the store ad. There are lot of items that are included in the Kroger Mega Sale that are not put in the weekly ad.

  10. Amber says:

Does anyone know if this Buy 10 safe $5 applies to several transactions made with one card? Or can I buy 20 items and save $10 in one transaction to avoid headache with splitting? Thanks!

  11. Anonymous says:

Thanks for sharing the rebate website! It is a great deal!

  12. coloradocouponer says:

Does anyone have another zip code for the delmonte tomato coupon? I am not finding it but would love some.

  13. Anonymous says:

I live in Arizona, and my local Kroger affiliate runs their ads on a Wednesday – Tuesday cycle. They also round up all coupons under a dollar to $1.00, so I was thrilled to see the new $0.50/1 Colgate coupons in my SmartSource 10/28! I clipped those along with the $0.75/1 Crest coupons from P&G 10/28 for a sweet score of 27 tubes of toothpaste for only $1.54!! That’s less than $0.06 per tube after tax! :-D

    • Amber says:

I did the same thing today :) Live in AZ, too.
So did they charge tax on your purchase? I made some other purchases along with toothpaste but was under impression that toothpaste was free, meaning no tax on it, just on produce. Maybe because I didn’t buy 27 and didn’t see much difference :)

      • Anonymous says:

Awesome..go desert rats! Tax is charged on everything but food, with the exception of some energy drinks and alcohol. The store brought my $0.50 and $0.75 coupons up to $1.00 so I paid only partial tax on each of the 5 transactions it took to get all 27 tubes. With the state sales tax being just over 9 cents per dollar, I expected to pay about $2.43. They must have a different calculating method for items when the coupon amount equals the item sale amount, as my tax was only 5.7 cents per item. I don’t quite understand it, but I like it! :D

    • Anonymous says:

Great deal! I am getting your next week ad ready for tomorrow, so keep your eyes posted.

  14. Anonymous says:

I just scored Nestle refrigerated (break and bake) cookies for 50 cents each!
    Heres the breakdown :
    Nestle Refrigerated cookie dough 2/$4.00
    Use 2 $0.75/1
    Final price :
$1.25 each or $0.50 each with double!

    • Anonymous says:

What a sweet deal Thanks for sharing!

      • Anonymous says:

        You’re welcome.
The birthday shaped ones are also 50 cents after coupons, I plan to buy some and have them frozen on hand for the kiddos’ birthdays.

  15. Julie says:

Question – if its a 10 for $10 – and you can only use 4 like transactions – can you split that into 3 transactions – and if you can (everything is 1.00) then why don’t they just say its on sell for 1.00 instead of 10 for 10? Sorry – I’ve confused myself.

    • Anonymous says:

My bet is that it’s a marketing ploy to get you to buy more product ;-) I was pretty confused about that sort of thing myself when I first started, so hang in there, it gets easier :)

      • XenaWP says:

Oh, it’s totally a marketing ploy! I read a great article about grocery store “psychology” one time and it was fascinating. Do you know why they put the produce and flowers in the front? Because brightly colored things make people happier and happy people buy more.

    • Anonymous says:

Here’s the beauty of the 10 for $10 sale, you don’t have to buy 10 items to get each one for $1.00. You can buy 1 product and still get the $1.00 price. I hope that helps.

  16. poopika says:

Does anyone know if Kelloggs Rice Krispies are included with the Kelloggs cereals on sale?

    • Anonymous says:

It depends on your Kroger. Some have certain Kellogg’s cereal included while others have different brands! Check with your local Kroger just to make sure.

  17. mnash0915 says:

I’m nervous but I’m going to use Kroger as my first attempt at being krazy :). I read your entire book last week, made a binder and cut coupons from 5 papers Sunday plus read all the ads and your site. I’m trying to do my homework because I don’t want to do anything wrong :)

    • Anonymous says:

I am sure you will by fine! You sound like you are ready to start couponing. Make sure you become familiar with the your store policies, and start off slow. Once you get those good deals, you will never go back to shopping without coupons again.

    • Kendra Edwards says:

Since I am a kroger shopper as well, I will let you know that they have really cracked down on couponing. I haven’t read the book you have but I thought it would be worth mentioning so that your run to kroger doesnt go as mine did. At least at my location, you cannot combine internet and manufacturer’s coupons on one item. That eliminated a lot of my glorious ideas. Also digital coupons do not double. Manufacturer’s do double up to $1.00. You are limited to 4 like coupons as well. This is a new policy. Once I researched it and also looked online, I realized that they have pretty much eliminated the ability to get items for free. You can save money, but the large hauls we all saw on extreme couponing were not realistic and did not follow the current coupon guidelines. Now, I legit saved $56 off my total bill with the use of coupons and utilizing 10 for $10 deals to build my toiletry stockpile, so coupons are good, just not “TV good”. My first try was to do the crest 50 cent off coupons that when doubled would be $1 off and I did this during the 10 for $10 crest time. I thought it would be awesome and free. They didnt allow it. Just don’t think it will be like TV. It is kind of disappointing at first, but it is still way better with coupons than without. ALSO, if you have a kroger gas station, you can save so much money at the pump by redeeming your points. I redeemed 500 kroger points and got 50 CENTS off per gallon. Since when could you get gas for $2.85 per gallon? Kroger is a great place to save money.

At work I asked my coworkers if they would be willing to bring in any coupons that they dont need and now we have a huge pile of them to trade. SO, even if you can’t do it the TV way, you can find your own way and do the 10 for 10 deals, buy 4 of one type of item at a time with 4 like manuafacturer’s coupons, etc. Hope this is helpful. I mean it to be…not to take away excitement.

      • Tara says:

The 10/$10 toothpaste at Kroger is always a Freebie. or if its colgate you can get them for $.25/tube!!

        • Guest says:

Yeah, I’m not sure how you didn’t get toothpaste for free because with the 10/$10 you don’t have to buy ten items

          • Tara says:

My Kroger only doubles coupons $.50 or lower. In my area I seem to always get $.75/1 coupons on colgate in my inserts. $1 toothpaste cost me a quarter. But crest gives them to me for free! my $.50 doubles to $1

      • XenaWP says:

I’m not sure how you didn’t get at least 4 of the toothpaste for free since with 10/$10 deals you don’t have to buy 10 to get the $1 price

      • Anonymous says:

Thank you so much for sharing your experience! I know that will help a lot of Kroger shoppers in the future.

    • Jessie says:

I am a regular Kroger shopper, and I’m also a Kroger cashier. My advice is to print off the coupon policy (there’s a link for it here on KCL) and bring it with you. But like Tara said, most Kroger locations double coupons up to a 50 cent face value. Also like Tara said: a lot of people do try to use a manufacturer’s coupon in conjunction with a digital coupon, but Kroger won’t let you do that. You can, however, use a manufacturer’s coupon alongside a Kroger coupon (the ones they send you in the mail.) But remember, cashiers are shoppers too! They don’t mind coupons. Even if you have trouble with them, it’s not a big deal. It’s always worth a shot if you’re not sure.

      • SunnyHavens says:

My store will not allow two coupons on one item whatsoever.

      • mamatiml says:

my krogers told me i couldnt use a mailed kroger coupon and a regular manu. coupon on one item. where can i find the part that says i can
