I’ve been to two different dollar tree stores and was only able to find the alka-selzter allergy. not too many other name brands(bayer, air wick, progresso). But I did score the alka-seltzer for free. I think I paid .14 in tax

My Dollar Tree in Houston had Scotties Tissue (200 ct) and I had two of the $1/2 internet coupons. There was some issue at the register, but it all worked out. I think the more we use coupons at Dollar Tree the better the cashiers will become acquainted with how to read coupons.

  3. Jessica says:

I have a lot of airwick coupons to use but non of my local dollar tree in Los Angeles stores have the airwick candles… bummer :(

Our Dollar Tree took the $2/1 Air Wick coupons and we have some $1.00/1 as well. Also, we have $1.00 off Olay bars and the Dollar Tree has Olay bars. I got 6 free! Several weeks back I got Brute deodorant for free also.

  6. RedemptionAddiction says:

They didn’t carry the Beyer extra strength. Wouldn’t accept the coupon for the Air Wick (coupon must only have a savings of one dollar per coupon, not item ON coupon), Did not have the granola bars . . . But got the AnD cream . . . Kind of a let down. I’m learning more and more the best thing to do is find out this stuff on your own rather than race around from store and store with disappointment.

my dollar tree wont accept coupons for 1$ or more even if they are on 2 items (1.50 on 2) anyone else have this problem?

    • susiem58 says:

Call corporate. Every time I go they try pulling that. Then the manager sets them straight. No more than one dollar off per item. I just scored tons of gain with that 2/2 softener coupon. You could use a 10 off 10 if they made it.

      • Mystic says:

They do the same to me… so they do accept $2/2?? i always get rejected! i had a ton of $1/1 gain i used, but i was told i could not use the $2/2. i thought it was a load of bs! :-/

      • elizabeth e says:

the manager is the one that told me that… its so frustrating! i even emailed dollar tree but have to yet to get a response

My Dollar Tree had Fiber One Bars (Mocha Flavor) for $1. I had 50 cents off 2 = 75 cents per box….retail $2.75 at Walmart! I had 6 coupons!!!

  10. memybaby35 says:

in conway ar. you can not get airwick candles neither store carries them

  11. memybaby35 says:

you can also use your 1$ advil at the stores in conway ar, they have the regular advil and advil pm 6ct. for 1$

  12. Jasmine says:

Are any of these deals in the Dollar Tree ad? Often, the ads don’t come in my weekly paper. I’m interested in the Jingos or the Air Wick Candles? I’d like to price match at Walmart because they normally have a wider variety.

    • Anonymous says:

Those deals aren’t featured this week but you can always check back yourself at the Dollar Tree site under “Weekly Ad” at the bottom of the page.

  13. Barb1961 says:

Does Dollar Tree take Target coupons? I didn’t know they did.

    • Anonymous says:

Dollar Tree does not accept competitor coupons, only manufacturer and printable (two printables per transaction).

  14. t5858 says:

Which Colgate coupon did you use from which insert? I tried to use the ss 10/28 one and the asst manager said that I could not use it. The toothpaste was not in a box.

  15. WinchWeasel says:

A & D cream is not sold at Dollar tree… their generic brand is A + D and that makes a big difference when trying to redeem that coupon.

  16. Jenn says:

Also there are roll on speed sticks that are 1.7 oz, which you can get for free

  17. Jenn says:

Dollar Trees in PA also have Colgate, Chloraseptic, Advil PM, Mio, Fiber one Bars, and Loreal eye shadow, so keep an eye out for those as well :)

    • guest241 says:

Jenn….WOW, you guys are lucky….. Houston hardly has ANY brand names, just Dollar Tree brands….. it’s the pits. We got a few things the very first day of “the coupon day”, but since then, when they re-stock….. only Dollar Tree brands. POO

That’s what it’s like at my Dollar Tree, too! I went in on Saturday looking for the Glade candles and Febreeze. They told me they don’t carry either one. 95%, or more, of the items I saw were their own brand.

      • Sarah Liz says:

I’ve seen name brand lipsticks, Hefty, Colgate, Aquafresh, Crest, Nature Valley, Ajax, Comet, and other name brands at the one on Eldridge and Westheimer.
