Also it helps to ask a store employee, if they have any more items that your looking for in stock in the back. It is so easy for them to just scan the barcode and see if there’s anymore in stock so don’t be shy to ask! I do this all the time, and 2 out of 3 times, they have more in back just not on shelves.

Went to Target yesterday and they refused to write me a raincheck specifically for their Gillette razor deal running this week (buy 2 get $5 GC). It was their customer service lady. She didn’t speak English very well and I couldn’t get the answer why, she kept saying she couldn’t do it JUST for this deal and that I should check back to see when razors are in stock. Does anyone know if it’s correct? I was so mad LOL

I got a rain check at Target when they had a deal on Vitamin D. With coupons I got two free. However, Target ran out of the product on the shelf. I spoke to someone on the floor and they were able to provide a paper that was a precursor to a raincheck. I was instructed to take it to a cashier to scan. When I did they provided me with an official raincheck.

TLDR: I went to see clerk on the floor. Gave me a raincheck to scan at cashier.

If the ad says “quantities limited” they will not give rain checks. They do that because they know it’s going to be a good deal and they don’t want to have to write the rainchecks. Check the tag on the item in the store, if it states that information, good luck getting a rain check. I tried that on the Dove deal weeks ago and they said they would not write a raincheck because it had that statement on the tag.
