Some weeks I’m pressed for time and can only grab a few things. This was not one of those weeks! I knew on Sunday that I was going to have a krazy week of shopping, because there were so many great deals! In particular, CVS has been impressive with great moneymakers, $10/$50 coupons from the coupon machine and 25% off email coupons. This was one of my best weeks ever there. And how crazy is air freshener in Creme Brulee and Red Velvet scent? I probably wouldn’t have bought something like that at regular price, but with coupons I’ll try almost anything! How did your week go?

have you ever had any problems with the waggin’ train dog treats? i just bought some at walmart. i used my $2.00 off coupon and got them for $.38 but i keep reading these horrible stories about dogs dying after eating them. just thought i’d ask a fellow couponer for an opinion before giving any to my dog (which was a great deal). thanks!

  2. Carolyn says:

KCL- I’m having the hardest time finding the EcoTools $1/1 coupon. Can you help?

  3. Anonymous says:

Is it just me? I’ve been receiving the emails with the links like a day after they have been published on the website… :(

  4. Anonymous says:

Have you tried to call CS? Sometimes you can call and then tell the agent that you have not been receiving the emails with qs for % or $/$$ and they check if they have your emal and update your account.. I’ve read of people doing it and after that they started receiving the emails… ;)

I have a question about the split week sales. If I took advantage of the P &G spend $30 get $10 ECB from the 4 day sale (Sun-Wed) am I eligable to get that reward again during the 3 day say (Thur-Sat)?

    • Anonymous says:

Limit for PG was increased to 2 during the first part of the week and this second part, the deal is the same (same code), so you won’t get it unless you only did the deal once during the 4 day sale and you still have one more chance during the 3 day sale… HTH ;)

      • kde90 says:

did u try it n got the p&g $10ecb on the 4 day sale and then another on the 3 day sale. i only did the p&g deal once on the 4 day sale n tried it again on the 3 day sale starting Thursday and my purchase was not being tracked down because i only purchased 4 dawns to try it first

        • Anonymous says:

I haven’t personally tried it yet (haven’t bought the PG deal at all) but I’ve read that A LOT of people are doing for the second time in the week (once during the 4 day sale) and they have gotten the second deal during this 3 day sale. The people who’ve done it twice already during the 4 day sale are not getting the deal now because they had completed the 2 deals for the week… And the tracking for the deals sometimes need a little time to adjust and reflect on the bottom of the recipt. Maybe you can try buying a cheap candy and you can check the bottom of your receipt again… HTH ;)

  6. Chelsea rr says:

    I can’t find the Burt’s Target coupon :(

  7. At my cvs, they didn’t hair any nail clippers for 2.99, the cheapest was 3.49 and they were all sold out. And they also didn’t have the aveeno 2.5 at all. But I did do the buggies and dawn deal, Colgate, emerald chips, and covergirl deals. Paid 18.52 oop using ECB from last week and got 16 dollars in ecb for next week!

    • Anonymous says:

I live in CA and my prices are always higher than are listed. The nail clippers are $3.19 ea and the Aveno is $3.79.

      • Anonymous says:

Same here in LA… But the prices are a reference too… It helps to check online prices but they are not the same… :-/

  8. Samantha says:

I did get the Aveeno deal but forgot to use my coupons at CVS. Has anyone had any luck with going back the next day and using them?

    • willgoup says:

I almost always forget to use at least one coupon because I am so busy keeping track of other things and get distracted. Never had a problem bringing my receipt back with the coupons. They just give you cash back. I always say..what’s the difference between doing that and just returning it and using the coupon. I think it’s easier for them to just give you the cash back anyway.

    • Anonymous says:

That happened to me once and the cashier made me return the product and then rang it again with the q… ;)

  9. Anonymous says:

true about different stores, another store i shop at knew they had a great deal about to start on revlon beauty tools, that store manager ordered tons and had them at the beauty counter, showing her cashiers what coupons were available and that a coupon would be printing out at the register. so not all stores are the same , some have managers who are up to date and care, and some who really don’t.

  10. diana says:

Did the Aveno deal actually work for anyone? I am just curious.

  11. Poolside1 says:

Sorry for the 2nd post, but YALL ARE THE QUEENS!! THANKS!!!

  12. Poolside1 says:

Awesome deals!!! I don’t want to be negative here, but I used to buy Waggin Train chicken treats for my dog cuz they were made in the USA. A couple of months ago (8 to be exact) I re-read the package and they are now made in CHINA!!! NO WAY am I going to feed that to my baby, so I make my own!! Just a heads up! READ THE LABLES!!!!

    • Anonymous says:

I don’t even have a dog but the neighbor dog has adopted us and so he’s getting these!

  13. RedemptionAddiction says:

The revlon nail clippers . . . Did you order 12 of those in advance? Or clear the shelf? Cause I thought that was a no no

    • diana says:

I was thinking the same thing..CVS has limited space. It seems as if the post from KCL is too good to be true but it is possible perhaps they just got lucky.

    • Anonymous says:

I had the same thought when I read the quantity on those…

    • shaegee says:

OR MAYBE she went to more than one CVS…..

    • Anonymous says:

I have 3 CVS’ in my area and a decrease in couponers so I easily found them without clearing the shelves. It used to not be the case when there were more couponers. I’d go in and have to be more careful about leavingmore stock. It you’ve followed my results for a while you will notice I very, very seldom buy the maximum because I am so careful NOT to clear shelves. My CVS stores were just really well stocked!! Woo hoo!

      • dyron. says:

D: 3 CVS’ in your area!?! that is like a couponer’s heaven right there. haha thanks for clearing up the air KCL! you ladies are the B-E-S-T~ BEST!

  14. GGaby says:

I ask for a rain check for the aveeno 2.5oz and the cashier told me they are not included in the deal of buy 4 get 15 up reward. and they did not have any revlon beauty tools either.

    • Anonymous says:

She was wrong and misinformed. I have read A LOT of people getting the ECBs with the 2.5 oz…

    • Alishatravis76 says:

You must be shopping the same grumpy lady at the cvs I shop at. I travel such a long distance and she doesn’t like couponers.

  15. Anonymous says:

I could not find the 2.5oz Aveeno Daily Moisturizer for 3.49 or the Aveeno Intense Foot Cream for 5.99. I couldn’t do the deal. darn.

  16. Veronica says:

When is the CVS aveeno deal good till?

  17. Jennifer says:

Wow you did a great job this week! I do have to say that I am very disappointed that the Extra Bucks Rewards policy has changed at RiteAid… you can only use your rewards starting the following day… no longer can you use it on the next transaction in the same day. For me.. I dont think I will be doing much shopping at Rite Aid anymore.

  18. sully says:

wow kcl you did really good this week

  19. Anonymous says:

Wow! Amazing cvs deals. The moneymaker items were sold out by Monday. BUT I did get the moneymaker therma care and the amazing deal on pampers. I love cvs! Good job!

  20. Amber says:

What was the Flintstone vitamin deal? Did I totally miss the breakdown on that?

    • Anonymous says:

Oops! Forgot to include that one-thanks for the reminder. It was at Targe and I’ve put it in now!

  21. estela says:

i got raincheck for the revlon beauty tools so hopefully some coupons for that come soon and the store stocks up

  22. Jessi says:

The lady speed stick is free at walmart actually like a .02 money maker. And if u work for walmart and have a discount it makes you even more. I believe the deodorant was .98.

  23. pjten101 says:

How did u find 12 Revlon clippers. My store had 1 and said they never have more than 1 or 2 on the floor. I went to 2 others Sunday and they had none. Bummer

    • XenaWP says:

Different stores in different places have different stocking policies. If clippers aren’t a quick selling item in your area, then they would keep less in stock

    • Anonymous says:

I hve three CVS stores near me and plenty of stock. I was shocked!
