i can not find mio coupon on coupons/com. Do i have to change location?

I am a cashier (at Kroger, not Dollar Tree), and I know that cashier usually are not trained to adjust coupons is the policy does not allow price adjusting. Your cashier may assume that it can’t be adjusted because they were not shown how. Just ask a manager! I had a couple ask if I could adjust it down for them. Even though it is against our policy, my manager was able to figure out how for them. If you’re not sure, always ask a manager.

seems like i can never find ANYTHING at the dollar tree! including this MIO deal…AND I HAVE 3 DOLLAR TREE STORS WITHIN 10 MIN! they dont have the wrapping paper deal either! or the glade candle deal a week ago, or the a&d cream deal……im so fustrated with dollar tree! only thing i did find there was like a whole truck load of the 4pk advil pm’s! which i have no coupons left for them! ugh!

The wonderful unbecoming store manager at the one here in la plata, md told me today that she would not take the coupon because there were three in the pack and it was on one. And the coupon was for $1.50 so she wouldn’t take it either. She was really nasty about it. I told her she could mark it down to take $1 off. She said No I said No. So I am no longer excited about using coupons at the Dollar Tree and have notified corporate about the issue. She is always nasty though. Maybe she is mad because she doesn’t use coupons. Oh well…. Glad I have other stores I can go KRazy and spend my money at :)

my dollar tree also has the 3 pack i had the $1 ip and he said i couldnt use it because it says any one……my thinking is any one means any flavor or varierty not count! we went back and forth he eventually let me use it but klc is this coupon ment for singles only? he also was one of those cashiers that said the wording 1 perchase meant i can only use 1 of the same coupons per transaction ……these stores really need to give their employees a few coupon pointers at least the basics….i had 4 olay coupons and he was being difficult saying i can only use 1 coupon, eventually he gave them to me….i knew i was right so i put up a fight but customers really should have to do that and hold up the lines due to the lack of knowledge on the staffs behalf
sorry this turned into a vent lol

There is a policy that has to be followed. If we accept coupons that are not legitimately supposed to be accepted at DT then it causes a cash shortage for the store. You crazy couponers are only worried about yourselves and not what it means for the cashier that may get written up over these coupons.

My Dollar Tree will only take ONE like coupon per transaction. I should them the policy but they said that is how they were told to accept coupons. They had no problem with me making several transactions. Not always convenient because usually they only have one maybe two cashiers.

The Dollar Tree I visit in Michigan has a limit of 4 coupons per transaction. It says in their corporate policy that managers can refuse coupons or limit quantities. I think 4 is reasonable, so I just use the ones that will expire first and stop in once a week or so. I am happy to buy extra papers there too for a dollar, so I don’t mind too much.

wow, im in michigan and the dollar tree I go to takes as many as I give them. the only thing they were worried about were fake ones which they had someone do a few days earlier.

My Dollar Tree sells MiO, but only the orange kind. I’ve gotten two free so far and my son likes them (no sugar – yay!) but my husband drinks the sweet tea kind. I’m crossing my fingers that they will carry something other than the orange tangerine some day.

The ones near me are not carrying the MiO

All of the dollar trees in the treasure valley do not have them. They told me they carried them 2 months ago.

Hi Carol! I’m in Boise, and was wondering if any of hem here had them. From what ou said, I guess I have th answer to my question :(. Hopefully they’ll start selling them here soon!!!!!

There was also a regional coupon SS 11/11 for $1.50 off.

I think I had that one! Thanks for reminding me, I’ll go find it :)

Check my answer above…

You can still use it since DT has to manually enter coupons; they can enter it at $1

This is very confusing actually. The q policy is not very specific and some people say yay and others nay. :-/

As per their coupon policy, the q can’t exceed the price of the product… So this $1.50 q is a no go at DT… :(

How do I change the zip code?

When you get to the site, At the top of the page you will see the words “Local Coupons”. Click there and then the zip code.

Its kind of lame you can only use 2 printable coupons per transaction at dollar tree

I was at dollar tree yesterday buying the hefty bags with the 1.50 off of 2 bags so .50 for both. Initially, the cashier told me they didnt take coupons. Then she called the manager and he said they do take coupons but only for 1.00. I told him I thought that was wrong and after going into his office for awhile he said they did take 1.50 coupons.

There is A LOT of confusion at Dollar Trees now with the newly implimented coupon policy. I’ve found it;s best to have the coupon policy printed off and in hand when I go in

I agree with you. There is and has been a lot of confusion with the Dollar Tree policy. They are new to the game coupon game, so it will take time for them to iron out the kinks so don’t give up on them yet!

my dollar tree told me NO cause they do not sell anything over a dollar

The coupon of $1.00 is to purchase at Walmart?

The coupon does not print with a Walmart logo.

I wonder if dollar tree will take the 1.50 coupons? It would save me from printing the 1/1 coupons

“Coupons cannot be redeemed for more than the purchase price of the item.” I take that to mean that the coupon must be $1 or less.

I was curious if maybe they would adjust it down so that the coupon does not carry an overage.

I dont see why they wouldnt adjust it down, especially because all teh dollar trees are
MQ manually.

Yes, they can adjust it down, so you can still use it

Woohoo! thanks

They can, but they usually chose not to…

I tried at my dollar tree and they would not accept it.

Each Dollar Tree is different, you might want to give your store a call and ask if they will accept the $1.50 coupon before you make the trip.
