I didn’t see these comments until just now. But I went to Walmart earlier today, and I was able to use the B2GO for the Secret Scent Spray, as well as two $1 off coupons for the secret products I had to buy. The cashier told me I couldn’t do it at first, but I asked her to check with a manager and the manager sided with me. Seems right to me. So this is what I did…

    –Bought two Secret 1.6oz antiperspirant/deodorant @ $1.74 each
Used P&G $1/1 any Secret antiperspirant (I had two of these to use, so i used one on each antiperspirant I bought)
–Bought one Secret Scent Spray @$3.57
Used B2GO, Buy any two Secret products, get one Secret Scent Spray free.

The manager told the cashier it was fine since technically, I was buying two secret products and they each had their own coupon. Since i was buying both of those (albeit at a discounted price), the B2GO free coupon was applied to the scent spray, which was the free item with coupon. That particular coupon has no affect on the other Secret products. So, I was still only using one coupon per item. I ended up the three products for $0.49/each before tax!

I’m all for proper couponing and don’t want to ruin anything. But to me, “LIMIT ONE COUPON PER PURCHASE of products and quantities stated” means the limit is for ONE of the product that your getting the deal on. There was no deal on the coupon for the 2 Secret products, just the scent spray. Which would mean that one coupon could still be used on each of the other products. This is what alot of couponers teach. Maybe P&G just has different rules? Either way, the manager at my Walmart allowed it. I was a happy camper :) Would love to hear other thoughts so I’m not breaking any rules!

My target and CVS would not give me the full total of the coupon. They adjusted it down. :((

  3. Anonymous says:

Was the target coupon the one from the newspaper that expired on 11/27? If it was, darn I didn’t do those in time!

  4. Jasmine says:

Does Walmart give you the entire value on the BOGO coupons? For instance, the Secret BOGO coupon. Would I get the entire 5.99 or would I only get the price of the item?

I love your site and i tend to come here 1st now:) Thanks just wanted you to know know Newport, Me

I’m not a big fan of Target (even though it is a one-minute drive from where I live), BUT this is a deal worth going for! Thanks for sharing! I’m going to see if I can still print the Target coupon.

Does Walmart not let your stack a BOGO with a $X/1 coupon

    • Anonymous says:

No, since the BOGO coupon applies to both items (despite there only being one physical coupon) and you can only have 1 coupon per item. It would be equivalent to trying to use a $X/2 and a $X/1 for the same item. This type of scenario would only apply to a store like Target where you can stack manufacturer and store coupons on one item, but only if your BOGO was a manufacturer coupon and the $X/1 was a store coupon, or vice versa.
