I’m confused about the KCL results of $1.25 per bottle as stated above. I’ve applied different scenarios and the best I get is $1.59 and that is if the store gives full value of $5.99 on each coupon. I’m just trying to see what part of the calculation I’m missing so I can maximize my coupon skills. Anyone want to clarify this one for me?

Absolutely. You buy 2 shampoos @ 4.99 each which equals 9.98 for the shampoo. For the 2 conditioners, don’t add anything since you have 2 coupons that make both conditioners free. So you still have a total of 9.98, now you want to subtract the 5.00 Target gift Card that you will be getting back at the end of your purchase, which leaves you with 4.98 for all 4 bottles. And if you divide the total cost by the # of bottles, you get 1.25. You will pay about 2.50 for each bottle out of pocket, but when you factor in the gift card they give you at the end, the total is 1.25.

Okay, so they count one of the free bottles towards the “buy 3 get $5.00 gift card” deal? That is the one scenario I didn’t consider. Thanks much! – Tina

Just wanted to say i went to Walmart tonight and looked in their clearance and found a bottle of the clear for mens shampoo for $2.50 . Had my $3.00 coupon from the bottle and got it totally free. Might wanna check there too. My Walmart has 2 clearance sections. One in the garden area(thats where i got this one) and one by the toys area. Dont know how everyone’s Walmart is but might wanna just walk threw the whole store to double check to see if you all have a second clearance section too. Well hope this helps all. :)

I just went to target tonight. I was going to buy 3 and use my bogo coupon. They told me I could use it but I wouldn’t get the $5 gift card. I told them I will shop somewhere else from now on. I’m emailing their corp office to let them know about this. I will just shop at Walmart from now on. I’m sick of target being like this.

  4. I was told when checking out at target one day that their policy with coupons with a max value is to take the max value because they will be reimbursed so they figured why not pass the savings to the customer. That’s what I was told anyway.

  5. will this deal work for the mens too?

I used a few of my coupons on the 2-in-1 men’s!!! Also, look out for some peelies that is $3 off 1 on the men bottles!

is this a regional coupon?? i cannot find it in my RP 1/27, ugh :(

    • Yer Moua says:

I recommend you go to ebay and order some. They are DIRT CHEAP right now because they expire on the 10th! They’re running around $1.50, including shipping, for 10 (or more) of the BOGO coupons. While you’re at it, consider investing in some ‘buy it now’ $3 off 1 clear men shampoo/conditioner (which would probably work on the women as well). That means you could potentially pay less than $8 on 20 bottles of Clear products, if you are willing to do 5 separate transactions :D Hope this help!

  7. Chelsea Kay says:

With the gift card promos, can you do the same deal twice in one transaction and get 2 gift cards or do you have to break it up into 2 transactions to get both gift cards? (Not talking about this deal since you can only use 2 coupons)

    • You can do it all in one transaction! You’ll just get multiple $5 gift cards.

    • Yer Moua says:

If you want to save more out-of-pocket (oop) money, according to my calculations, do separate transactions: Your first transaction, you buy 4 bottles at $4.99 ea = 19.96 – 9.98 (coupons)= 9.98+tax. 2nd) 9.98-5=4.98 oop. You only pay oop of `$15 plus bring a $5 gift card home. However if you’re doing one big transaction of 8, you’re going to pay oop $19.98, but you get to bring $10 home. For me, I like to make sure I’m taking out as little as possible from my wallet.

i just got that deal but dont know how to post ): i had 3 coupons so i buy 3 get 3 free and for every 3 u get 5 dollars back, the machine took off 5.99 so with the 10 dollars back i payed 2 for all 6 plus tax

    • kim says:

That’s awesome, but unfortunately the coupon states Maximum of 2 identical coupons allowed in the same shopping trip

      • me says:

i used 3 coupons and they went through.. i also thought it would deduct 4.99 but the coupon deducted 5.99… i guess i got away (:
