  2. Katie Johnson says:

Where did you find that the ECB limit has been increased to 2? I looked in the ad and online and I keep seeing limit one. Am I missing something?

  3. cluv715 says:

Also, does the rebate apply to Gillette shaving gel? :)

  4. cluv715 says:

Do you have to purchase the items at CVS or can it be at any store to get the PG rebate?

  5. Derek says:

Hi KCL PLEASE ANSWER THIS QUESTION, OR ANYONE WHO KNOWS ABOUT THIS.

Hi, i wanted to know if i bought items that produced an ECB and i
wanted to return those items, am i allowed too? Even when i get the ECB?
Do i need to return both like ECB and the items in order for a full
    refund?

Hi Lisa, My name is Lisa Hamilton also et I love to coupon.I learn something every day but I hold my own.

  7. What do you do if you purchased products for 2 rebates and have only 1 receipt?

  8. So excited. Just used a $10 off a $50 purchace and a 25 % off your entire regular priced purchase and 3 BOGO gillette razor coupons. Making my total for six packs of venus disposable razors $11.00 and I got $20 ECB and I am submitting for the $15 rebate. Wow a $25 money maker.

  9. Jennifer27 says:

I feel like I’m going insane. Just searched for coupon matchup sites and just about every single one I found had scenarios for the gillette razors where you buy 4 razors, use 2 B1G1 coupons and then also use 2 more $2 off coupons. I really don’t want to go into my CVS and try to abuse coupons. Am I wrong? Or or stores allowing this?

    • Anonymous says:

Some stores may allow it, but often the coupon wording does not and the coupon wording is what should be followed. Read the coupon and see if it states something like “only 1 coupon per quantity stated” If it says something like this then only the BOGO coupon should be used and not the additionla $ off coupon. A lot of other sites have different view points on coupon use, but I find KCL to be the most honest and responsible. BTW, the wording has recently been changing on many of these coupons and I do not think all store policies have kept up with those changes.

      • Jennifer27 says:

I always try to be an honest person, but sometimes coupon wording confuses me a little bit. I would rather be safe than sorry. :p

    • myconviction says:

I wanted to know the same thing. I hope KLC can answer us.

    • Anonymous says:

EveyG explains it well. We will not suggest stacking the PG BOGO coupons with dollar-off coupons, because of the wording on the coupons that prohibits it. We do our best to guide you in the ethical use of coupons here :)

  10. David says:

KCL, please help me with this. I have a local drugstore with better prices than CVS that I constantly get $10/$30 store coupons for. It prorates these coupons before applying mfr Qs, so a typical transaction can look like Buy 6 Olay Body washes at $5 each for a total of $30, apply $10 store coupon, and it gets split amongst each item to make them $3.33 each (mfr Qs applied after tax). The receipt will say for each item Our Price $5, the line underneath will show “Store $ Off” followed by -1.67, and in bold underneath THAT it will say Your Price $3.33. So, long story short, my question is, will this rebate be looking at the “Our Price” or the “Your Price”?

    • Anonymous says:

That’s a tough one. You usually have to circle the line on the receipt, including price. Not knowing exactly what it looks like, I’m not sure if it’s possible to just circle the sales price.

  11. soha says:

it doesn’t have gillet Razors inculded on rebate..does it?

    • Anonymous says:

The rebate includes Venus and that is the item I used in the example scenario. (Venus is a Gillette product and part of the “Gillette” promo).

  12. cactusrose says:

I see on the rebate form that it says “receipt”. Where does it say “receipt(s)? Thanks.

    • Anonymous says:

I read somewhere else that somebody called PG and asked cause the rebates in the past allowed multiple receipts and he/she was told that it’s a go with multiple receipts like in the past…

    • Anonymous says:

These PG rebates always allow multiple receipts. It is unrealistic to expect someone to spend $50 in one trip. HTH.

  13. cactusorse says:

I see on the rebate form that it says “receipt”. Where does it say “receipts”? Thanks.

  14. and how are you suppose to get the upc off the pantene bottles they are printed on the bottle itself

  15. the rebate doesnt include gillette

    • Anonymous says:

Look more closely at the post: the deal is under the “Gillette” promo, but the specific items are Venus razors.

  16. cactusrose says:

I see on the rebate for that it says “receipt”. Where did you get “receipt(s) from? Thanks.

  17. Nicoleta says:

Where is the rebate form?Where can i find it?

  18. Beth says:

Any suggestions on how to get the UPC off the Pantene bottles? I’m having a hard time.

  19. Dorothy Kinniard says:

I’m always a little confused when it comes to the rebates. I purchased 4 of the Simply Venus Razors today at CVS. They cost $7.99 each for a total of $31.96. I used a b1g1 disposable gillette razor coupon on 2 of the razors and 2 – $2.00 off gillette disposable razors for the other 2. Plus I also had a $5/$30 from CVS that I used. When it comes to the rebate will the $31.96 be counted or just the amount I actually paid for them after coupons?

    • ~Shawn~ says:

The purchase price amount BEFORE coupons is stated on the rebate form. So, the $31.96 you spent will apply.

    • Anonymous says:

Whatever amount that rang up for the item is what you will receive credit for. The coupons are deducted after so you should receive full credit. If you had bought with a BOGO sale instead, you would only get credit for 2 of the items because most likely one would have rung up regular price and one would have rung up 0.

  20. Beth says:

Thank you for the rebate notice. Checked my receipts for anything after the beginning date; I went shopping on 2/13 and am already half way there as I bought Olay and Secret products at CVS. Combined with coupons and getting the $10 ExtraBucks this makes a really great deal.

  21. Sarah says:

I found trial size packs of Crest 3D white strips in clearance at Walgreens, do you think those would qualify for the rebate? I don’t see anywhere that it excludes trial size but you never know.

  22. jen says:

it ask for the original upc code from the the package (include a graphic if possible) so does that mean they need the upc code from the back of the product…but what if you have like pantene shampoo, do u have to peel the upc code off too, cause i try to peel the upc code and it’s hard to peel plus u have to slowly peel them or they will tear…

  23. gophernh says:

It says rebate form can not be reproduced. Where can you get the original form?

  24. Kim says:

Can I ask how you know there is multiple receipts permitted? I read through the fine print and didn’t see anything that said either way, except that it says to include the “original dated sales receipt”. It doesn’t say “receipt(s)”, which worries me..

    • Anonymous says:

These always allow multiple receipts. $50 is a lot to spend in one trip. For future reference, you are more likely to see a rebate state when it DOES NOT allow multiple receipts, rather than it explicitly stating that it does.

  25. MISSKUE says:

jw when it says original upc from the package do i take picture of the upcs and print it or what?? first time doing this rebate! and it says circle purchase price? do i circle the price after all the coupons?

    • ~Shawn~ says:

The rebate form states it’s the price paid BEFORE coupons. :-)

    • Anonymous says:

For previous P&G rebates, all you had to do was write the UPC down on the rebate form, I think this is new that it says include graphic pic if possible. I am willing to bet they will honor the rebate with just the UPC written and personally I will not be sending photos. Next, circle the price that rang up for each applicable item on the receipt before you used any coupons.

  26. Jill says:

I’m not sure which insert they were from, but I have B1G1 Gillette Disposable razors (exp 3/31/13) and it does include Venus disposable. So my plan is to buy 4 of the Venus disposables (4 @ 11.49 = 45.96) and 1 regular blue Venus @ 6.99. Total $52.95 before coupons. Then I have a $10 off $50 from the CVS coupon machine, bringing my total to $42.95. Then use 2 B1G1 Gillette disposable $42.95-11.49-11.49 = 19.97. Then $3 off 1 Venus, 19.97-3 = 16.97. Get $10 ECB and submit for P&G $15 rebate, making this a $8.03 MM.

I also got the Pantene coupon – it was a single page loose insert with Vidal Sassoon on one side (coupons for shampoo/conditioner, hair product and hair color) and then the B1G1 Pantene coupon on the other.

  27. Guest says:

why wouldn’t you use a BOGO coupon for the Venus Tropical Scent Disposable razors?

  28. newbie says:

  30. nandranie says:

  31. montgomery61204 says:

why 4 venus razors at 6.99?? Why couldnt you do 3@6.99=20.97
3@11.47=34.41 totaling 55.38 before tax and coupons?
