Moneymaker Physicians Formula and More with CVS 20% Coupon!

    Yay! Thank You!

  2. Anonymous says:

yes % off coupons works on reg prices items even with ECB deals…regular price with bogo deal will not work

  3. Anonymous says:

got the hot pink fake out lash or fake lash mascara and it came with a $2 coupon plus my 20% off making it a 0.61 MM from orig price of $10.49. My mom got a $3/10 cosmetic cvs q so hers was an even better deal!

  4. LadiBleu says:

So, if I use the 20% off coupon on the physician’s formula, do I still get the $7 Extra Bucks?

  5. zoomingamy says:

The physicians formula makeup that I bought had a $2 coupon on the mascara and skintimate shaving gel had a $1.50 coupon on it!

  6. Mrsmith says:

FREE Magazines, marie claire, parenting, forbes, ebony, jet, latina, martha steward and may more, just go to heavenly steals website and follow the link.No credit card required,I got plenty of free magazines.

  7. MissAnh says:

Can i use a percentage off coupon combine with a $3/10? I plan on using my manu q too.

  8. Melissa Lopez-Shears says:

Can I use the 20% off mutiple times? so I can pay separate and use the EB to pay for next items, or do I have to give it to them for 1 transaction? thanks

    • Anonymous says:

No, only once. So you’ll have to put all of your %-off eligible items in one transaction. HTH!

  9. Anonymous says:

it seems to be pretty random; sorry you have not gotten them; did you check your spam folder as well?

  10. Ericafelix2 says:

Some of the physicians formula BB creams have a coupon on them for $3/1… and I also saw some of the foundations with a pink peelie that said “try me free (after MIR)

    • Anonymous says:

Oooh a $3/1 BB coupon, I could have certainly used that, I actually bought one yesterday and there were 2 left, unfortunately neither had it. I still thought it was a decent enough deal to justify with the 20% and $1 and Ecb’s I had. The pink try free rebate peelie was opened up at my store and I noticed that the submit by date was 2012, so that wouldnt have worked : (

    • Anonymous says:

      Nice!

  11. smgraff55 says:

How can the 20% off coupon be used on sale items or the EB items? It says on the Q that those items are excluded doesn’t it?

    • Anna Yang says:

I tried using a 20% off coupon twice and got rejected both times. The store associates said they won’t apply if the product generates an EB.

      • Not true.. I use this coupon routinely, just have to make sure that the items are not sale but still have EBs attached.

      • Anonymous says:

It’s a good rule of thumb to have a cashier scan it anyway, rather than just go with their guess. :)

Be sure to read the tutorial/FAQ, linked in this post!

    • It cannot be used on items on sale. But there are some items every week that are not on sale and still have EBs on them. This coupon works on those items only. Look for items that say – Spend $X to get $Y EBs or Buy 2 and get $Z EBs. If there is a price attached to the product that means its on sale and this coupon will not work

    • Anonymous says:

      Nope, they aren’t excluded :)

Be sure to read the tutorial and FAQ post, linked at the bottom of this post!

  12. I bought a Schick Hydro sensitive formula with a $1.50 peelie on it and it gave me a $4 Extra Bucks!

    • murphyjct says:

I too purchased two Schick Hydo Sensitive SC with $1.50 peelie and two Schick Razors with $4 + 20% and received $16 in ECB back for all 4!!

  13. dyron. says:

KCL thanks for sharing these awesome deals. i appreciate the hard work you ladies put into this site. ^-^

  14. Desiree says:

I found the mascara with a bonus pack – it had 2 in the box with a $2.00 off peelie on it. So i really paid .99 for 2 tubes of mascara!

  15. Sylvia says:

I’m looking at my receipt from today. I purchased the Phys Formula Eyeliner $11.79. I had cpn $1, $5 EB and then 20%cpn.A total of $2.36 was deducted, so full amt of purchase price.

    • Anonymous says:

That’s the way it works–man coupons and extra bucks used should not affect the 20% discount (some CVS coupons would alter the discount, however) You got a great deal!!

  16. Guest says:

Question about the Neutrogena deal– my ad says that all Neutrogena hair and men is on sale for $5. Is the shampoo you have listed an exception, or is my deal different? Thanks!

  17. lori says:

i was on another coupon site and got a try me free mail in rebate for physicians fomula mascara it is the one in the pink bottle….i dont know if i am allowed to say site and not sure how to post link….will give you up to 9.99 back …and for anyone who did not get $7.00 ecb …i called stores out of my town…my store is only charging 9,49…was going out of town so returned the cheeper one at out of town and purchased theirs to get my ecb….

    • Anonymous says:

The “try me free rebate” form is on the products themselves, so if you are lucky enough to find them, it is a great deal.

  18. kathy says:

I continue to be aggravated by CVS for not having product in store!

    • Stephanie Krolikowski says:

      I have the same problem

    • Anonymous says:

Be sure to get a raincheck!!! They can include the extra bucks deal on the raincheck as well as the sale price.

      • vicky7707 says:

The store I went to on Sunday would nit isdue a raincheck on tge Miracle Blurr since it was the last day of sale. By the time they restock the cvs q and $3 mq will be expired. My best bet is to go Saturday nigjt when they begin the sunday sale. Beat them to rhe punch.

    • vicky7707 says:

ditto. i get the impression that my nearest CVS removes certain ECB promos from shelves. i.s: Gevalia coffe 2 weeks ago, Loreal MIracle Blur last week, etc…they don’t restock until the coupon expires. I went to another CVS Saturday and although they were out of the Miracle Blur they would not issue a raincheck on the ‘last day of sale’ not do they give out rainchecks any longer since Jan 1 2013 I was told. I was so aggrevated.

  19. Newby says:

I can’t find the coupon for the physican’s formula in my SS from 2/10. I looked in several older ones and even some RP and can’t find it. My coupons come from Sac Bee. Anybody else have this problem? I had this problem with another coupon last week as well. Thanks!

    • MountainMiss says:

I have this problem ALL the time– it’s because I get a smaller local paper, and they don’t have as many coupons. Some people find it worth it to pay more for the bigger paper, or you can buy missing coupons from online clipping sites (though there’s a debate about whether this is legal/ethical.) Since I only have two people in my household, I generally just let it go, figuring there will be another sale later. HTH!

      • Newby says:

Thank you Mountain Miss – I thought I was going crazy! I don’t really need the mascara, just thought it was a good deal, so I thought I’d try it! Maybe next time.

    • Anonymous says:

I never get the Phy Form coupons

      • Katie Jakus says:

I normally do not get them either Or my coupon buddies who order them from Florida. BUT I was tickled pink that they came in my chicago tribune.

  20. Azal Idris says:

I have a question about the cvs emails… I used to get the cvs e-mails and red machine coupons, but recently it stopped I only receive only offers only. I did not change anything it just stopped all of the sudden. Does anybody know anything about this or how can i fix it? thank you in advance…

    • Azal Idris says:

sorry I meant online only offers***

    • Lamora Coons says:

me too! I used to get the 20% off coupon every Thursday like clockwork- I am wondering if it is because I took a break from couponing over the holidays- maybe they only send them to customers who spend so much money regularly.

  21. Allison says:

The physicians formula mascara at my store was priced at $9.79, would that make the 98% cut?

  22. Diana says:

Thanks KCL. I didn’t have the 20% coupon and didn’t have the $1 coupon but decided to look at the Physicians Formula Mascara anyway to check the price. Glad I did. It was $9.99 with a $2.00 coupon. Final price $0.99 after coupon and Extra Bucks.

  23. Gabby says:

I have a question about the Physicians Formula.I was told by one of the girls who work at CVS that because it is advertised as a promotion, I couldn’t use the 20% for it. I’m confused, please explain it to me.

  24. MountainMiss says:

I will also be using my % on the Aveeno and Sally Hansen deals. Pretty good week for me, overall– when I account for BeautyBucks, they make almost everything a MM!

  25. Anonymous says:

Watch for $2 peelies on the physician formula mascara to :)

  26. KLC your prices are off. when you use a % off coupon & a mfr Q, the % coupon gets taken off the total AFTER regular price & mfr Q’s. For instance the total is 5.60 on the schick razor not 4.79

    • regardless of what order you give your coupons. I’ve shoped at cvs many times to know this by now :)

      • Lesley says:

Mine worked today before coupons. I had a coupon for a free Powerade drink from My Coke Rewards and the 20% came off of it since it is not one sale.

      • MountainMiss says:

While that may be the case at your CVS, (in which case, major bummer!) that’s definitely not the case at all of them. My prices always work exactly at KCL has outlined them. You may want to check out other CVS’s around you, you could really be missing out on deals!

        • not only that, but the prices are higher too, guess it’s just a regional thing.

          • coupon.hunter24 says:

All the prices KCL list every week are a lot lower than what my stores sell them at. When I tried using my 20% off coupon today the manager said it would only be taking of .63 after coupons were applied. I just decided to keep mine. He explained that the percent coupons are always taken off after eb’s, mq’s, cvs q’s, etc.

            • Katie Jakus says:

Send it to your card that way the register decides what it will take off and NOT the cashier.

            • Katie Jakus says:

My store is always higher as well but I think kcl bases it on online prices.

            • Anonymous says:

Sorry, I do not agree with the manager–man coupons and extra bucks (except for “forced” ones) do not affect the 20% discount. Some CVS coupons such as $xx off $xxx will reduce the %. It seems there are many cashiers and managers who do not know how it works. If your discount coupon is going to expire, may I suggest you give it a try, using man. coupons and extra bucks and see what happens as a reference for the next time you receive a discount coupon.

      • AmandaLee says:

Ashlee, you’re both right. The %off is applied after CVS coupons and beauty club rewards (which still read as CVS coupons).

    • Anonymous says:

@facebook-100002381773770:disqus – that’s not true. Please read our FAQ/Tutorial on %-off coupons linked in all of our %-off matchup posts (2nd to last paragraph above). If you are using any CVS coupons, there are many which will reduce your percentage (Beauty Bucks, purchase-based coupons, expired EBs, and green bag tag rewards… just to name a few). Hope that helps!

      • yes it is true, i have the receipts to prove it. well then all cvs stores must be different.

        • Anonymous says:

If your store is applying them after coupons, it certainly is an exception and not the norm. That must be very frustrating for you!

          • Couponkid says:

I thank you so much for saying that eeeeeeeee!!!!!!

            • heather says:

Couponkid, don’t feel bad my store does the same thing. I was wondering why my totals were always off and I ended up standing at the register forever wondering why. I went today and the same thing happened, I analyzed my receipt and the 20% is taken off after the mfq :(

  27. Kat says:

This is great! A moneymaker on regular priced – genius! Ive been wanting to try the mascara :) I hope my store still has them and the toothpaste. There is so much competition from the other couponers in the area especially those who use multiple CVS cards (which my store allows but I think they shouldnt since the limits are ment so there is enough in stock and this only encourages the shelfwipers)

    • Breanna says:

That sucks my cvs is usually pretty stocked I have two cvs cards but I use one at the beginning of the week and 1 at the end of the week. I feel this is a fair way to make sure everybody gets product.

    • Liza Beth says:

I use 4 cards. I have one personal and I shop for 3 other families from my mommy group who in turn shop for 3 other families at a different chain store they might not be able to visit. Lucky for me, my cvs manager & wife are couponers. He helps me with deals and we order items I need so no clearing of shelves. We stock up by swapping items with each other when there is a limit on items. We view each other as teammates not competitors. So sad. How can we expect to be treated with respect from salespersons when we have bad attitudes toward fellow couponers.

      • KaLI says:

Well I can see why Kat would be annoyed. She is trying to be fair by having only one card, as it should be, and other people have multiple cards, which is a little greedy. I think more of us see other couponers as competition than we would like to admit. It is a bummer when you come in early on a sunday morning and the item you wanted is completely cleared out.

        • Kat Fisch says:

I do love the thrill of a competition but it’s disheartening when my shopping runs get derailed because someone has cleared the shelves of specific items I had factored into my couponing plans. I actually found myself angered yesterday when I went to my local Walgreens in the morning and EVERY SINGLE coupon book was clipped and placed back onto the pamphlet holders.

    • Thess says:

Would it be counted the mascara worth of $9.99 to $10? before the tax? Even its $9.99 u still get the $7 ECB? Im confused. Im a newbie

      • Anonymous says:

CVS has the “98%” rule which means if you reach at least 98% of the required amount needed to trigger an extra buck, the reward will print. Ex: If the required amount for Phy Form products is $10 to trigger the $7 EB, then you need to spend at least $9.80 before tax.

    • NoOoP says:

Kat – I was sitting at the table and looked up at my hubby – he laughed out loud! This mascara was half way down my cheeks – I looked like a racoon – I recommend waterproof! LOL

    • reesa says:

There is also a rebate on that Physicans Mascara. I’m soo excited.
