  1. Mrs. J says:

Is it me or is the site acting wonky? Had a hard time loading today and now it doesn’t look like the same format. No pics, deal and store section look totally unfamiliar.

  2. Jenny says:

What is an good ideal for the 20% coupon that they sent to us

  3. Can anyone tell me what’s the limit on the Dove deal (Spend $15, get $5 ECBs) this week? Thank you!

  4. Anonymous says:

I do not see your post, but in case it’s still there, you can try to go back and edit the comment and remove the address or delete it. If you wipe it clean and cannot get out of the post, just put “disregard comment” or something like that

  5. I just want to verify with somebody who has done a P&G rebate before. The $50 needs to be reached (and I am assuming there is no 98% rule with P&G – hah!) BEFORE coupons, correct?

    • Anonymous says:

The $50 needs to be met or exceeded; no 98% is not allowed. You need to circle the price that rung up on the receipt, so use those figures to get to $50–so before coupons.

  6. silviafuentes@minister.com says:

At this time where is the best place to purchase “Tide” and “Downey”?

  7. Anonymous says:

Change your zip code here first, then go back to the coupons .com link: http://print.coupons.com/Couponweb/Offers.aspx?pid=13727&nid=20&zid=eg14

  8. Jenny says:

Hi SOMEONE WITH PASSED EXPERIENCE PLEASE ANSWER.

Hi i returned an item that i used coupons for and the the store gave me a money card that equaled the amount for the coupons i used. They also gave me the cash i used to purchase the item. Why did the store did that? Are they suppose to or just give me the cash that i used to purchase those items.

    • Anonymous says:

When you say coupons, do you mean manufacturer coupons or store rewards? I have never heard of a store giving any type of refund for man. coupons; if you return the item purchased it usually means the man coupons are forfieted. If you paid for the items using cash or credit and store rewards, then they usually give you the refund in the same form and amount used in the purchase for cash/credit, and for store rewards, sometimes they give a store credit and sometimes you forfiet them —not sure if it is up to the manager or store policy. For example my local CVS tends to give store credit but not my local Rite Aid.

      • Jenny says:

They gave me back a money card worth the manufactured coupons that i used. I was shocked

        • Anonymous says:

WOW!! I have never heard of that before!!

          • Jenny says:

Hi EveyG, How come i had to give them my driver license today when i returned an item to cvs?

            • Anonymous says:

I have heard of this before at some stores. Sometimes it depends on the cashier/manager. I was told at some stores they keep track of your returns, especially if you do not have a receipt, to be sure you are not stealing and then trying to return the items for cash or store credit. I AM NOT saying that is what you did, but there are people who buy using coupons and get the items for free or nearly free and then intentionally return items to make a profit. The cashier at my local Rite Aid says this happens all the time and they know the ones who regularly try and do it. It really gives all of us a bad name and adds to the bad vibe we sometimes get from cashiers, especially when we honestly need to return an item.

    • Anonymous says:

This is pretty standard procedure for CVS. If they cannot logistically give you the coupons back, they should be replacing their value somehow, unless they are voiding the coupons. They will be submitting them for reimbursement from the manufacturer, which would be fraudulent if they were not actually used as payment. Giving you a cash card for the value of the coupons (instead of cash), ensures that you will still spend the money in their store.

      • Jenny says:

Hi KCL how come when i refunded something they asked for my driver license, to me it was sorta weird to me. I returned another item and it didnt require driver license, but why this time?

  9. Mrs. J says:

Hi, I am new to couponing so please bear with me. On the Right Gaurd deodorant it says limit of 6. Is this a limit of 6 deodorants or 6 ECB’s?

  10. wildflower says:

If it’s Buy 1 Get 1 *50% off, can I use the 20% off CVS coupon (from email) on the first item which is at regular price?

Just wanted to post about the P&G rebate since several products posted here refer to it. I was in the midst of completing my rebate form and called the 1-800 # for clarification. You CAN use multiple receipts as I have seen some people ask this question. However, they are requesting the UPC from the packages and if the UPC cannot be cut from the package they are requesting that you take a photo of the UPC and submit with the rebate (ie include a graphic). She informed me that if there is no UPC or photo included for the items, those items will not count toward the rebate. I have never included UPCs with previous P&G rebates, only listed them on the form, and had no problems. I donate many of these items and would hate to cut the UPCs off the packages. I guess I could take photos and include that, but I was wondering about KCL’s/others thoughts on the issue.

Stock up symbol?????Not sure what that is

    can anyone show me please

    • Anonymous says:

It means it’s a really, really good price. And if your stockpile is running short and you have the right coupons, buy what you can :)

these are illegal coupons. i’ve emailed cvs about it & they said it’s coupon fraud buying & using these cvs coupons on ebay.

  14. Jenn Gill says:

Go to the local tab and then change the zip code

  15. I live in So. Il, and I received $15 mail in rebate coupons that would work on the Oral-B 3D white tooth brush at CVS. If I did my math correctly, isn’t that a better than free item?

  16. Anonymous says:

is this legit? are the coupons not card specific?

  17. Anonymous says:

can you use $10 off $50 and $10 off crest whitestrips cvs coupons in the same trans? i bought the 54.99 white strips and 4.99 cetaphil bar soap… the $10 off $50 worked but the $10 off white strips beeped.

    • Anonymous says:

The wording on some of the CVS coupons has recently changed; if your coupon restricted the use to one $ off coupon per transaction, it may not have accepted the $10 on the white strips. I always ask for clarification when the coupon beeps. Most of the time they review it and accept it if I am purchasing the correct items and spending the correct amount required by the coupon.

anyone know of any good deals that this could go with? Or know what is considered facial care?

    • Anonymous says:

Facial care includes women and men’s facial cleaners and lotions/creams for sure, as well as men’s shave cream. Try to make a deal using Olay, Nivea, or Neutrogena coupons. Neutrogena has a $5 Q off 2 items; Nivea has the buy one/get 1 free (if it has not expired yet) and Olay has multiple coupons and counts toward the P&G rebate.

    • I’m saving mine for the Simple deal next week!

For the proctor and gamble beauty rebate spending $50 get back $15 may i use two cvs cards for instance like my cvs card and my husbands cvs card and combine those two receipt for the rebate?

    • Anonymous says:

IME, multiple receipts were allowed on past rebates with P&G; the CVS card has nothing to do with the rebate

  20. wildflower says:

Just want to share my experience. For DOVE body wash 24oz @$6 and it says spend $15 get $5 Extra bucks. So yesterday I’ve purchase 3 bottles of Dove body wash 24oz. But the extra buck didn’t print. I’ve talked to the manager and he said the EB didn’t print because I’ve used coupon which lowers the value of it. But he printed the EB for me anyway so I’ll be happy but he says next time I should be aware that the coupon lowers the value. I’ve checked my receipt and found out that One body wash 24oz (burst) on sale for $3.99 instead of $6 ( maybe that’s the reason it didn’t print) BUT the total is still $15.99 before coupon. I am confused because from my previous experience the EB is generated from the total before coupon.

    1 Dove body wash (shea butter)24oz $6.00
1 Dove body wash (ultra rich) 24oz $6.00
    1 Dove body wash (burst) 24oz $3.99

    I’ve used Mftr’s coupon:
2 MQ $2.00/1 Dove body wash
1 MQ $1.00/1 Dove body wash

    • saversavvy says:

could be that the one was clearance but not marked. Might be why it didn’t count for the extrabuck. Are the other 2 tracking on the bottom of your receipt?

      • Wildflower says:

Yes. The other two were on tracking at the bottom of my receipt. I think you are right the Dove burst body wash was on clearance. I didn’t know that until after check out.

    • Anonymous says:

Manager made up a story (IMO) —coupons do not affect the extra bucks; it seems the clearance item is what caused the problem

    • Anonymous says:

A quick way to find out is to check the bottom of your receipt to see how many of those items actually tracked for the promo. I’m betting the clearance item didn’t track and you actually only have $12 toward the promo. Using coupons does NOT affect whether you meet the promotional threshold or not. He is mistaken.

  21. I never knew this could be done. As soon as I read your comment I went right to ebay and bought some from qualityboxsets! Thank you sooo much, I was kind of holding back with the “buy $50 get $15 rebate” thing, I felt like I wasn’t really getting a deal–until now! :)

  22. My CVS has an unadvertised Register Rewards when you buy $15 worth of Easter candy which is 2/$5 this week. So basically, buy 6 bags of candy, use 2 $2/3 coupons on the Hershey’s candy that I think came from the RP last week. Pay $11 receive $5 in ExtraBucks back. I live in Northern California.

  23. fudge says:

question for the rebate is it okay to have two different receipts with total of $50.00? or does it have to be in 1 receipt?

  24. chad f. says:

WHATS A REALLY REALLY GOOD DEAL ON CVS IS YOU CAN GO ON EBAY AND BUY 15 COUPONS THAT ARE 4.00 OFF 20.00 ORDERS AND USE THEM AGAINST ALL MANUFACTURER COUPONS TOO..THEY ARE AUTHENTIC CVS COUPONS I BUY THEM ALL THE TIME…I THINK THE NAME ON EBAY WAS QUALITYBOXSETS 100 PERCENT RATING..

  25. nicoleynn says:

I have a question about the p&g rebate! Are the Gillette Venus razors included? Also, checking another website (for the mommas) someone commented that they called P&G and they said everything needed to be purchased in one transaction has this been confirmed? Thanks!

    • Anonymous says:

The rebate does list Venus as a participating product. For other P&G rebates, I did several transactions and turned in multiple receipts and received my rebates with no problem. IMO, you do not need to make all of the purchases in a single transaction.

      • wildflower says:

This is very helpful. Good I’ve kept all my receipts. :) I’ll mail it in for the rebate. Thanks a lot.

3/$10 Tresemme Sale. Can I use 2 of the $3 CVS Coupons?

    • Anonymous says:

I believe those coupons state “one coupon per customer per visit.”

      • wildflower says:

Can we buy just 1 Tresemme at $3.33 each? or should we buy 3 to get it at $3.33? Thanks a lot. I’m a newbie and I am enjoying the discount from couponing.

        • Anonymous says:

soemtimes it scans sale price when you buy 1 and sometimes it does not; do a price check at the Coupon machine or ask a cashier

    • Isn’t that coupon only good on select Tresemme, that are NOT included in the sale? Or maybe they are on an unadvertised sale??? They weren’t marked 3/$10 at my store at least…

  27. CouponNewb says:

On a cvs purchase coupon, do they read the reg price on clearance items?

    • Anonymous says:

I’m not certain I’m understanding your question correctly, but if you are asking about meeting a threshold or required purchase amount for a coupon or promotion, it will be the actual selling price that counts. Not the original price.

  28. Jamie says:

Has anyone tried to do the Right Guard Xtreme? Is it the sale price too? Will it produce ECB?

  29. dilaurari says:

I am fairly new to couponing and was wondering if you can use a bogo free coupon with a bogo 50% off sale? if so how does this work?

    • Anonymous says:

Yes you can. This can work in several ways, depending on the cashier and/or computer system. When the computer scans the coupon it may automatically take off the full $ amount allowed by the coupon, regardless of the selling price OR the computer may beep, prompting the cashier to enter a price. In this scenario, the cashier may enter the full price or the 50% price. If the cashier wants to enter the 50% price, I would politely ask if she could enter the full purchase price because if it is within the allowed amount on the coupon, they will get reimbursed by the manufacturer.

  30. Anonymous says:

Remember, that B2G1 coupon has a limit of $2.48. Keep that in mind while calculating your final price :)

What’s considered to be a good price for Prilosec? I have a month’s supply left, but $19 is the cheapest I’ve seen yet.

I always buy the 42ct for $19 when I can but I feel like there’s got to be a better deal out there somewhere!:(

  34. Fred says:

Can you use the 20% off coupon on crest 3d white stripes

    • Anonymous says:

No, it is technically a “sale” price, just differently-constructed than usual. “Save $10.00″ is the same as a reduced sale price. HTH!

  35. lnmnm says:

What is the zip code for the m&m’s coupon, please? …. or is it gone already? Thanks!

  36. Anonymous says:

Crest 3d strips…. So when it rings up it will ring up as $41.99???? Why I am asking is to submit the 15 off 50 rebate will I have to buy other products as well??? To reach the 50$ mark???

    • MountainMiss says:

Yes, you would need to buy additional products to get to the $50, as the rebate is based on price paid as shown on receipt. You could do one of the Pantene deals from this week, or wait and see if anything better pops up– the rebate’s good til the end of April.

    • Anonymous says:

We list all available rebates and coupons in the sale info, but will not include them in the suggested scenario (deal idea) unless the deal meets the minimum requirements. For the Crest strips, for example, we do not list the $15 rebate in the scenario, but do list it in the sale info, just to alert readers that it is indeed available.

  37. liza beth says:

Right Guard Total Defense Body Wash had a $1 off peelie if you were lucky enough to find them, someone had pulled all the ones from the bottles on the shelves by Saturday afternoon which IMO is stealing. The coupon only becomes yours when you are purchasing the item. Luckily my CVS has awesome employees who offered to retrieve me some new bottles from the stockroom. I refused because I already had my newspaper coupons (I get mine in my local paper on Saturday mornings) and took some of the vandalized ones on the shelf so someone else had a chance at to use the peelies from the new bottles as they were meant to be used.

    • daltonjsmom says:

What is your opinion on taking available blinkies at a store to save for a later sale, possibly there or elsewhere? I haven’t really seen this addressed anywhere? OK or not OK?

      • jadisqueen says:

The blinkies are there for the taking (don’t take them all!) and don’t need to be used at the time you take them, but peeling all the stickers off of products you didn’t buy to use at a later time isn’t right in my opinion.

        • Brandie says:

Totally agreeing with you! if it is attached to the actual product, it is INTENDED to be SOLD with the product (whether the buyer will use it on the transaction is up to the buyer). If they were meant to be free, they would not be ATTACHED to the product!

      • Anonymous says:

IMO, OK to take and use later, even at another store

        • fleurdelizzie says:

Stores actually consider taking a bunch of coupons off products stealing. I believe KCL or unless it’s not her; another blogger found this out. The more you abuse, the more restrictions they will make.

          • Anonymous says:

Just wanted to be clear, I was responding to daltonjsmom asking about the blinkies–I think those are OK to take because sometimes you do not even know how much the coupon is for and then when you get it you determine it does not make a good deal, considering the price of the item. I take them instead of throwing them on the floor and use them later. I DO NOT think taking peelies is OK–totally not cool to do that!!!!!

          • Ronda says:

“The more you abuse, the more restrictions they will make.”
            VERY well said fleurdelizze :)

    • Brandie says:

I agree with you! It is stealing if you are not buying the product the peelie is attached to! It is meant to be sold with the product!

    • deidrenicole says:

A lot of times the peelies now say “$x.xx OFF NOW ON THIS PURCHASE”

  38. Onica says:

Correct me if im wrong but the final price for the right guard deodorant should be 1.50$ each not .50 cents

    • Jenn Gill says:

The 50 cents each is assuming the right guard extreme is included. If it is then you buy two ($3.00 x 2 = $6), Use 2 of the $2.00/1 right guard extreme coupons ($6.00 – $4 = $2.00) and then you guys 1 ECB ($2.00 – $1.00 = $1.00) and $1.00 divided by the two items would make them 50 cents each. HTH

    • Anonymous says:

Using a $2 coupon for the Xtreme, the scenario/final price is correct. HTH.

  42. Chris says:

How do you “stock up” on something when the limit is 1?

    • Anonymous says:

I think sometimes the stock up symbol is used to show that it is a great price, not necessarily that you will be able to stock up on this particular deal (ie: limit 0ne)

    • Paradise236 says:

My interpretation: stocking up is a process accomplished over many shopping trips. The stock up price indicates that a particular item can be purchased at a price so low that it is worth buying now even though you don’t need it now. Sometimes you are limited to a quantity of 1, but adding that one to a pile (slowly growing over time) is effectively “stocking up”.

      • Anonymous says:

        Great explanation @paradise236:disqus :) Thanks!

        • liza beth says:

in our couponing group we recommend one item per household member (maximum 4 of any same item. most coupons have a limit of 4 like coupons as does our major grocery store so we used that standard. seems pretty fair to us) per weekly sale. no multiple trips or multiple transactions to get more of the same items as personal care items are always on sale. on grocery-anything edible-we recommend the same above rule with the exception of making 2 shopping trips. 1 the start of the sale and 1 mid-sale after the store restocks the shelves. what would you suggest?

          • karen says:

i think it depends on what the item is and how many there are. If it is something that they obviously have an abundance of, I would get more than 4. I usually don’t go much above 8 though and never clear the shelf if it means getting more than 4. Sometimes they only have a few left and I feel bad about taking the last, but if I don’t, someone else would.

      • Anonymous says:

yay! slow& steady with no shelf clearing & yes, your stockpile will grow!

    • Anonymous says:

We are limited by the store promo limits, yes. But we still think it’s important to denote when you are getting a “stock-up-worthy” price. HTH!

Does anyone know if the Oral B 3D Toothbrush deal is in fact included for the Proctor and Gamble rebate? I am looking at the rebate form and I only see Crest 3D White, no mention of Oral-B products…

    • Anonymous says:

I have the same question. I don’t see Oral B listed on there either.

      • Shawn says:

I do see from the P&G Brand Saver a $15.00 Rebate offer for Oral B Toothbrushes (its on the Oral B website as well), separate from the $50 Proctor Gamble Rebate, but it does NOT include the 3D White toothbrush listed above :-(

    • Anonymous says:

No, definitely not included. An oversight by us. Thanks for catching it!

  44. dyron. says:

Thanks KCL! ^-^ I see some great deals.

  45. Ronda says:

I love it when this gets posted and I get to see what has the stock up symbol next to it!! I’ve built a relationship with the employee at CVS that does the ordering. She counts on me to recommend what she needs more of… and I count on KCL. Thanks for all you do!! Oh, and I’m teaching her a little of what I’ve learned here :)

    • Brandie says:

What a great relationship to build with our friendly cashiers! They are so patient with us when we have to do a second transaction, or have a question or even need to look up a sale because an extra buck didn’t print. This is a great way to show them we appreciate all they do! :)

      • kelly says:

this is exactly what I do too… I try going when they aren’t busy and I try to smile and be so helpful and have my coupons organized and my cc’s and cash etc. all ready, and always know their names and say thank you…that’s what I do anyways:) which I learned from other fellow couponers!
