Dollar Tree has made a couple of updates to their coupon policy. Listed below are the revisions as of March 1, 2013. This update will help avoid issues when using coupons that are valued over $1.00 for multiple items, like $2.00/2 Olay Bath Bars. Always be sure to have a printed copy of the store’s coupon policy on hand to avoid problems.

  • We accept coupons for over a dollar on multiple items if the coupon amount does not exceed the combined retail price of the items indicated.
  • We accept up to four (4) like coupons per household per day.

Is there any couponers from Lewiston Id? My husband and I have been looking for someone to exchange coupons with and learn some tips and tricks from others around the Valley

I’m sure the Olay coupon caused all of this confusion. But, you have to think about what the checkers are going thru as well. It’s frustrating for us but it has to be really frustrating for them – they have to check every coupon, COUNT how many items you have, and then HAND-ENTER the amount one by one.

To make it a little easier for the one I go to, I go early in the morning before work & the manager always rings me up. He always excited to see me get things for free and he’s extremely knowledgeable of the policy. Hopefully, they’ll update their systems soon to be up to date with other retailers as far as scanning coupon barcodes goes.

I’m sorry you had this experience. Some stores are not up to date with their coupon policy and it is unfortunate.

Even with updated coupon policy, they refused to accept $2/2 Olay Coupon here in VA

I’m kinda confused sorry I’m kinda new. So I can still use the olay coupons? Since is $2/2

Yes you can. No need to apologize.

Just used coupons for the first time at our store.Cker said they were new to it so be patient. But took my coupons and was really nice :)

That is great to hear!

I just found the Olay bar soap at Target for .97 each, it’s where all the travel sized stuff is. Used 4 coupons there and 4 coupons at Dollar Tree for a total of 16 bars and only paid .62 for tax at each place!

Great job!

I have a question because in the P&G it states (excludes trial size) and I did not dare to try purchasing it. So when you bought the soap it did not beep.

This means nomore $3/2 Nivea lip glosses, huh? And no more using10 Red Baron pizza coupons in one trip. Booooo. But I can live with it.

Unfortunately the Nivea coupon will no longer be accepted.
