Oh, dont get me started with Walmart, eek! i just sent this letter to Corperate Walmart :

I am a couponer, yesterday i presented 6coupons for 6items
purchased. The cashier read the first
sentence on the coupon “limit one coupon per purchase”, she said she
wanted to double check with a manager cause she has messed up in the past, thats
fine, i said, expecting this to be cleared up right away . I went through a “lead”(didnt get
her name), Assistant Manager (Summer), and Manager (Merideth) all telling me it
meant “one coupon per transaction”. All, which I explained, had
interpreted it incorrectly, I even showed them examples with other coupons, it
meant “one coupon per item purchased”. I was correct. What was dumbfounding is that i went through
4people, which all, had no clue what they were talking about. The cashier was
the most pleasant, but i found Merideth to be most insulting. The icing on the cake was when Merideth went
back on my transaction. I had also
purchase one other item with a $2off internet printed coupon, it was already
scanned, accepted, and not in question through this whole process. She took it off and re-scanned it (it went
through, again) and then proceeded to “school me” on this printed
coupon saying “you know its walmarts policy with printed internet coupons
if they dont scan we dont accept them”. Now, i felt like she was treating
me like a common criminal double checking everything! How dare she tell me
about walmart coupon policies when she cant even properly interpret the most
common first sentence on every coupon. I was insulted to say the least, but
just replied “I am aware of walmarts coupon policies”. But, I couldnt
help but feeling belittled by her at the end of the process. I am not trying to get away with anything, or
steal anything, I am just a frugal person, with couponing as a hobby. The cashier said she had been in trouble in
the past with coupons and was weary of accepting the wrong ones, and I cant
blame her. To corporate “how dare you walmart, reprimand your cashier and have
her scared of accepting the wrong coupons when her superiors, 3 of them, cant
even interpret the most common sentence on a coupon correctly. It’s your fault Walmart. Your training is obviously ineffective on
coupons for staff (cashier up to management). Don’t you dare yell at your
cashier for making sure she is doing the right thing when clearly she is unable
to get a correct answer from her superiors. What an insulting and eye-opening
experience. The cashier was the most pleasant,
professional and apoligetic of the 4 people i encountered yesterday.

Same experience here, in New Orleans … :-(

I’m a team member at Target and something to keep in mind is that clearance items differ from store to store, so these deals may not apply to your local Target. One of the biggest issues I have with people at the service desk is when someone is trying to argue that we should change the price of something to match another Target store’s clearance price. It just can’t be done.

Which is why this post is annoying to me because I know when I walk into my target I am not going to find the hefty bags on clearance!

Thanks for the information—we appreciate it!

Have had the worst experiences with coupon Nazi’s lately at Target! Is is everywhere or just mine?!

Same here

the Walmart in my area is horrible about wanting to accept coupons. I never have any problems with using my coupons at Target. Plus, Target accepts coupons for free products as opposed to Walmart who does not accept any coupons for free products.

Last week at Target, the cashier told me she had to scan the coupons with their items. I went and put each coupon with their item and helped her. She was very nice and even mentioned a deal on strawberries she saw earlier. It was a pain but it worked out better since I know all of my coupons were scanned properly. I will ask now at the beginning unloading my cart.

It depends on the store. I never have problems with my free product coupons here in Houston.

Found a buy 2 get one free set/pack of finish dish wash powerball tabs for $2.75 -30×3 pack and thought it was a great deal and then i used two 1.25 off coupons- so basically got the whole thing for 25cents!awesome deal! my wonderful cashier let me use two of the coupons since the set was a buy two get one free but some of you might only be able to use one since its packed like a single set-try looking near the clearance candy-thats where i found mine!

Good find!

Can we use the coupon on the twister game thing?

Hi Tonya, yes you can use it. The reason it is not listed is because we only list coupons that are still available to print. But if you have that coupon and it hasn’t expired yet, definitely take advantage of it!

I’ve been getting such great deals on toys and games lately. My mom is a librarian and these will be great prizes for their summer reading program. It has been a lot of fun finding these deals!

Glad to hear that, Mary! We’re glad that you and so many other people can benefit from this.

Loving the toy deals lately! It’s letting me be the super awesome Auntie to my nephew and niece (he’s 4 years old and she just turned 1, whew time flies!) even if I am on a college student budget. Will definitely be taking a peek when I drop by Target. I’ll try not to spoil them… much. 😉 Thanks!

You’re welcome :) It’s hard to not spoil the little ones!
