I ended up doing this deal tonight, got 2 nail polishes, and had to buy 2 candy bars because of overage. So I paid 28 cents for all of it!

yayy! I got this coupon in El Paso TX

I bought the .99 nail polish and they were scanning Buy one get 50%off, so the second scanned .49, the signs were only up for the 1.99 more premium nail polish?? The coupon will beep at the register but we (both the cashier and I ) thought it was because there was an .01 overage!! Awesome Deal!!

Can anyone recommend a good company (website) to order whole coupon inserts from? For some reason, I don’t get red plum here in Las Vegas. Thanks!!

I just order the coupons that I want from ebay :) Got a great deal on this one!

My Walgreens doesn’t accept coupons if the item price is lower than the coupon amount. :(

I’d complain to management or if they are the ones telling you that call corporate. They are suppose to mark the coupon down to whatever the price of the product is so that there is no overage. In this case they’d knock it down to a coupon worth .99 instead of a dollar. I used to work for Walgreens so I know what they are doing isn’t accurate.

Walgreen’s coupom policy states they will lower the amount of the coupon to match the product price. In this case – the nail polish is $0.99 & the coupon is $1, the cashier is to adjust the coupon to $0.99 so you will only pay the sales tax. You can print their coupon policy and bring it with you.

Talk to the manager and show them their coupon policy, they will match the coupon.
