Bogo at target today not on this deal but I was charged for the second item then given the reduction customer service said I would be charged for second item ?? Thoughts please read the policy after I got home thanks!

  2. lq says:

I got this one but they took the .75 off the price of one can, then deducted the now cheaper can as the free one. :/ Anybody else had that problem?

  3. Wildflower says:

Bought 4 cans today @ .56 cents each. 2 were with 20% more bonus quantity. :)

  4. jericoupons says:

Got 4 and only paid $0.89 since I used my target card! I love these deals! Thanks KCL!

  5. valyusha says:

The cashier scanned the coupons. BOGOs always require input from the cashier since they do not take a fixed amount off the total cost automatically. Both $0.75/1 TQ and SS $0.55/1 MQ scanned successfully after BOGO. I don’t think the cashier made it work. This is how the checkout scanner was set up. I will check it again.

  6. Rosa says:

    is the sale over?

  7. valyusha says:

I went to Target again tonight. Got 6 bottles or three pairs. This time I was able to stack $0.75/1 Target and $0.55/1 SS MQ on one bottle and the BOGO MQ took off $3.00 the second bottle. I did the same for each pair of bottles. Therefore, I paid $0.70 OOP after Target Red Card took additional 5% off and 5 cents off for bringing my own bag. I’m happy with this deal!

    • KillerKittyKat007 says:

You can’t use the BOGO coupon along with the .55/1 coupon. The BOGO coupon attaches itself to both items, so it’s considered using 2 manufacturer coupons on 1 item. It is wrong & the reason many stores are cracking down on coupons.

  8. I was able to pick up two cans of the Skintimate, for around 60 cents, then decided to get 2 cans of Edge Gel, though not on sale, I still had a B1G1 free coupon and used two 0.75 off Target coupons!!! Also got two of the Maybelline eye shadows for around 44 cents each, and a bottle of Method Cleaner. All of it for $3.61!

  9. utube says:

    I got 2 for $0.17!!! don’t know how but i was surprised

    • KayKay says:

Yeah, Mine were completely free plus overage. If you used a .75ct coupon on each gel, then you got overage of .32ct per pair. So you might have only paid tax like I did, I paid .42ct in tax! (And that included hamburger buns that I did not have a coupon for.)

      • Anonymous says:

With BOGO coupons, you are only allowed to stack one additional coupon
with it, according to Target coupon policy. For example you can use one
BOGO MQ with one Target coupon, not two Target coupons.

I just got 4 of these at Food4Less and made .04 cents! They are on sale for 1.98 each and part of the buy 4 save $4 sale. The cashier entered the price for the 2 coupons I used at 1.98 each coupon because she said that was the sale price. Pretty good deal if you ask me! :)

  11. Dani says:

I just bought 8 of these for $2.66! With 4 BOGO coupons (each one took off $3) and 4 Target 75 cent coupons they came out to only 33 cents each with tax. Wahoo!

  12. JrCouponer says:

Since you are buying 2, couldn’t you buy 2 and use the BOGO q, the 55 cents off q, and the target q since target allows 1 target q and 1 manufacturer q per item?

    • KayKay says:

The BOGO and the .55ct are both MQs, so you cannot stack them, you can use 1 BOGO and 2 Target Qs per pair though.

    • Anonymous says:

With BOGO coupons, you are only allowed to stack one additional coupon
with it, according to Target coupon policy. For example you can use one
BOGO MQ with one Target coupon, not two Target coupons. Also, you can’t combine the BOGO with the $0.55/1 coupon.

  13. Anonymous says:

my cashier saw the 2.09 then the $3 and adjusted the price to $2.09 instead of $3! :(

    • valyusha says:

Same for me, but I used to get the face values of BOGO coupons at out Target. Talked to Target CS, an associate said that they have to adjust the price. What is right? Target coupon policy says: “One item will be charged to the guest and the 2nd item will be discounted by its full retail price.”

      • KayKay says:

Yes, I asked them about this as well. They can choose to either discount it by the sale price or the original price. Most stores will just do the full max of the coupon, since it’s close enough to the original price. My store said that regardless of if they mark it down, the company gives them the full $3, so they don’t mind giving the difference to us as overage. Guess it’s nice to have a friendly target.

  14. Anonymous says:

This deal was awesome! $.71 for 2 cans. Did this deal twice! I had just ran out of shaving gel too. Perfect timing! Thanks for the info on this deal! :)

  15. L says:

I just rushed out, picked up 8. Also got a gallon of milk at 3.29 and a team of paper for 3.14. I used 4 BOGO, 4 .75/1 Target coupon and I was able to use the .55/1. I had a $5 gift card from the shock deal last week and ended up paying pop $2.35 for everything!!

    • Leanna says:

      Reem of paper**

    • KillerKittyKat007 says:

You can’t use the BOGO coupon along w/ the .55/1 coupon. The BOGO coupon attaches itself to both items so using them both is the same as using 2 manufacturer coupons on 1 item. It is wrong & the reason stores are cracking down on coupons.

  16. kate54 says:

Why would cashiers take $3.00 off for the B0G0 coupon when you have only paid $2.09? Just curious.

    • kristie52607 says:

the coupon is up to $3 so sometimes the coupon will just scan for the $3 off.

    • KayKay says:

When the coupon scans, it doesn’t check what the price of the item is, it pops up on their screen asking “Is this amount correct?”. Most cashiers just hit yes to the full $3 without caring. If you have a picky coupon store then they will go back and look at the price of the item and put in the amount they sell it for.

  17. wendy says:

Kass where is the .75 coupon? is it online?
sorry not to answer your question.

    • wendy says:

NEVER mind! if I would just take a min and read the deal before I grab my binder and car keys! LOL..

      • kass says:

can u help at all with my questions if your headed to target…. ):

        • nancy says:

the coupon is up to 3 dollars. it takes 3 dollars off by itself. the cashier has to adjust it to 2.09 but sometimes they do not adjust it.

  18. kass says:

    HELP!!!!!!!
on the target coupon it says one coupon per guest…. does that mean i can only use ONE .75cent off coupon ??

    • KayKay says:

Most Target stores will scan up to 4 because they will not beep and they don’t care about reading them. I make a point to have them scan in my Target coupons first that way I know they will come off right, because sometimes they wont work right with the free items from BOGO deals.

  19. kassandra says:

i have printed out 2 of the target coupons and 3 of the bogo coupons.. this is my FIRST time doing this… can someone tell me how many cans to grab and if i can do this all in one purchase…

im so confused but really would love to figure this coupoing stuff out! thanks, kassandra

    • KayKay says:

With 2 Target coupons and one BOGO you can get 2 can’s for free (depending on the state you live in, you might still have to pay tax). You can still use the other BOGOs, but they will come out to about .50ct a can. I suggest trying to borrow another computer to print out a few more Target coupons, they will only take up to 4 per transaction, but you can get more for free!

    • KillerKittyKat007 says:

Idk if you were able to figure it out in time, but for next time you’d get 6 cans (2 per BOGO coupon) & you could actually use 3 of the store coupons stacked on top. Target’s policy states you can use 1 extra cents off coupon along w/ a BOGO coupon. In this case your cents off coupon is the Target coupon. If it were the Target coupon that were BOGO you’d be able to use a cents off manufacturer coupon. HTH

  20. Coupondarling57 says:

This was a great deal for me! My cashier also took the full $3.00 off and I had 4 BOGO coupons plus two of the .75/1 Target coupons. I literally got the last 8 shaving creams that were on my stores shelf. They were .40 each! :)

    • KayKay says:

You could have used 1 .75/1 TQ per shaving cream and had over $1 overage! Target accepts 1 TQ and 1 MQ per item, even a free item because of a store deal or BOGO coupon! So make sure to watch for those!

    • adlangel says:

Same here! Took 3 off and took the .75 cent off one. The guy cashier was very impressed!

  21. Girl35nutty says:

I have a question and I am not sure if there is a place for random questions on here so I am just going to ask it here and hopefully someone can help me. Are Catalina coupons only to be used at the store they come from? I have several and some of them say Redeem at Target or redeem at safeway but I was wondering if that is printed on there in hopes that you will bring it to that store or can catalina coupons be redeemed anywhere?

    • KITTY says:

IF THE COUPON SAYS MANUFACTURE COUPON ON THE TOP OF IT, YOU CAN USE IT ANYWHERE, BUT IF IT SAYS “TARGET COUPON” OR SAFEWAY OR KROGER OR STORE COUPON IT CAN ONLY BE USED AT THAT STORE, I WORK AT TARGET SO I AM VERY FAMILIAR WITH THIS QUESTION, HOPE I COULD BE OF HELP TO YOU :)

      • Girl35nutty says:

Thank you, both say manufacture on top and then at the far right above the bar code it says redeem at “target” ect. So I can redeem them anywhere, thank you so much for the info. :O)

    • ChrisitnaB says:

Meijer is the only store that I know of that will accept other store catalinas. At Target they always let me catalinas that print during my transaction.

    • KayKay says:

It depends on the coupon. Some say “Manufacturers Coupon” at the top. Those can be used anywhere as long as it doesn’t say “Only for use at ____” which most don’t. Target store coupons say “Target Coupon” at the top. Most of the $1 or $X off catalina’s can only be used at the store you got them at. Like Albertson’s catalina’s.

  22. AlRod_0703 says:

I am glad I saw this before I left shopping!

  23. olivekay says:

can you use 2 target coupons and 1 b1g1?

    • kitty says:

I WORK AT TARGET AND YOU CAN ONLY USE ONE TARGET COUPON WITH ONE MANUFACTURE COUPON :)

    • KayKay says:

You can only use 1 TQ and 1 MQ PER ITEM! The B1G1 counts as an MQ on both items, but you can still put a TQ on each item. So 2 TQ and 1 BOGO MQ = FREE! Plus like .30 overage.

    • Anonymous says:

    0.22 i mean

  25. taisi says:

    in my target(schaumburg,il)they are taking 3 dollars off from 4.18$(two can price)…4.18-3=1.18$ and after target 0.75 coupon (1.18-0.75=0.43) i pay only 0.25 each…thats what i did :)

  26. THERE’S the stock up price! LOL

  27. taisi says:

    i picked up 6 today….i used 3 BOGOs and 2/0.55 so i paid 0.4 each :)

    • Anonymous says:

Just for future reference: since those are both manufacturer coupons,
they cannot be combined. So you can use either a BOGO or a $0.55/1,
according to the coupon policy. Does that make sense?

  28. Guest says:

    i picked up 6 today….i used 3 BOGOs and 2/0.55 so i paid for 0.4 each :)

  29. Dani says:

Also, I just noticed that Target has a store coupon for 75 cents off the shave gel. I assume you could stack these for even better deal!

  30. Mary says:

There’s a target coupon online :) for 75 cents off.

  31. musiqlvr27 says:

I used 4 of these coupons today at target. They have a 20% more can on sale for 2.09 so I picked up 8. The cashier took the full 3.00 off (which is what the coupon is up to). I was able to score 8 cans for 4.72, so each can was only 59 CENTS!!!!

    • Me too!!! I love little unexpected surprises like that, mine turned out to be .55 cents each. =)

    • Anonymous says:

      Hooray!

    • EMS says:

Worked for me too! Got 4 cans.

    • KayKay says:

This is definitely a stock up price! If you use the .75ct Target coupons you can use 1 on the bought item and 1 of the free item, making for a .32ct overage when you buy 2!

      • myconviction says:

You can use a target coupon on a bogo free item?

        • Brittany says:

It actually states in their coupon policy that you can’t use a coupon on a free item. I double checked today. Some cashiers have taken it before though..

          • Brittany says:

unless I read it wrong. This is what it says:
Buy One Get One Free Coupons (BOGO):
•BOGO coupons cannot be combined (i.e. you cannot use two BOGO coupons on two items and get both for free). Unless stated otherwise on the coupon, the use of one Buy One Get One Free coupon requires that two of the valid items are presented at checkout of which one item will be charged to the guest and the 2nd item will be discounted by its full retail price.
•A second cents-off coupon of the same type cannot be redeemed towards the purchase price of the first item.
•If a Target BOGO coupon is used, one additional manufacturer coupon may be used on the first item.
•If a Manufacturer BOGO coupon is used, one additional Target coupon may be used on the first item.

      • Anonymous says:

With BOGO coupons, you are only allowed to stack one additional coupon with it, according to Target coupon policy. For example you can use one BOGO MQ with one Target coupon, not two Target coupons.

  32. fairyangel says:

Can I use the .55/1 coupon with the BOGO coupon?

    • XenaWP says:

You can’t use two manufactors coupons one the same items. A BOGO coupon generally attaches itself to BOTH products and to use another manuf coupon would be too many and more than one offer per product. So no, sorry, that would be nice though

      • JZ says:

my target has allowed it. two items, two coupons.

        • XenaWP says:

If one was a Target coupon, and one was a manuf coupon, then yes, you can do that. Target allows you to combine store coupons with manuf coupon. However, if they were BOTH manf coupons then your Target is pushing them through and disregarding the written policy on the coupon.

      • valyusha says:

Could you, please, give a reference to a source that says that a BOGO generally attaches to both items? I thought it takes care of a free item only by discounting its full retail price.

        • XenaWP says:

Check out KCL article called “BOGO Coupon Rules” under the Beginners tab above. She says; “We advise shoppers that they think of a Buy One, Get One Free manufacturer coupon in the same manner they would view a coupon worth $1.00 off the purchase of two(2) items. You cannot use a $1.00 off 2 coupon and a $0.25 off 1 coupon on the purchase of only two products. In the same manner, you cannot use a BOGO manufacturer coupon and a $1.00 off 1 manufacturer coupon on the purchase of two products.” Also if you google BOGO and coupon policy you will see numerous other coupon blogs and store policies that say the same thing; a BOGO applies to both products

          • valyusha says:

Ok, got it. But this went alright at our Target. The cashier first scanned the BOGO that took off $3.00, then $0.75/1 TQ and $0.55/1 MQ from SS stacked on the first can. This worked for the three pairs of cans.

          • valyusha says:

Update. This is debatable in other coupon blogs.
The logic behind “yes, you can” is that a $1.00 off 2 coupon takes some amount off the non-free item, but BOGO by itself doesn’t. I personally treat a BOGO coupon like this: I buy the non-free item to get the second item free. So the BOGO sticks to the free item only.
This is called gray area of couponing.

            • XenaWP says:

If a coupon says “Can not be combined with other offers” then you can NOT use a second manufactor’s coupon with it. There’s no way to “logic” around it. If you find a BOGO coupon that does allow you to use more coupons with it, great, but I can’t remember ever having seen one. BOGO coupons are also a companies way of rewording “Buy two get half off both” because “FREE” looks better to consumers. I disagree with your logic and don’t consider it a “grey” area at all. If the wording on a coupon prohibits using a second manufactors coupon with it, then you shouldn’t.

            • valyusha says:

If this Skintimate BOGO coupon were “Can not be combined with other offers”, then no one would have been able to stack it even with one Target $0.75/1 coupon. To the best of my knowledge, this particular BOGO did not have ” Can not be combined with other offers” restriction.

            • XenaWP says:

It did, I read it on there. And you can stack a Target coupon with a manuf coupon because it’s part of Target’s coupon policy and their registers are programed to take it. A Target coupon is separate from manuf coupons since it’s a store coupon.

  33. Is this not a stock up price?

    • Anonymous says:

Generally, it’s a stock up when it’s 75% off the regular price. But if you really like this shave gel, and you have enough coupons, stocking up is A-OK!

    • KayKay says:

If your Target will let you use a .75/1 coupon on both of them, then this is definitely a stock up price. I used 2 BOGO and 4 .75/1 TQs. they took off the whole $3 instead of just 2.09, then .75/1 times 4 meaning I had .64 overage.
