Let’s Shop: Results of 5/12

I felt like this week was a little slow for me and I didn’t buy as much as usual. I even looked over the deals again to see if I wanted to buy more! I held back though–sometimes you have to remind yourself not to buy just because you think you should get every bargain. It doesn’t really matter if you have bags and bags of deals, just that you have good deals! How did your week go?

  1. Does CVS accept printable online coupons?

  2. I tried the windex 2 days ago and the coupon was no longer in my mobile coupon when she scanned it. :(

New at this,, and need help … Next week garnier fructis shampoo bottles will be on sale at 2.99 a bottle i have a coupon for b1g1 free up to 3.99 value coupon, how would this work? buy 2 @ 2.99 = 5.98-3.99= 1.99 for 2 or would it be 2 @ 2.99-2.99=2.99 for 2

    • Lauren says:

I’m not an expert, but pretty sure it would be 2.99 for two.

They usually take off the retail price of the item, not the max value of the coupon. Probably varies by store and cashier though, I’ve had people take off the max amount but i think it was an accident.

    • Laura Moreno says:

It depends on which store. CVS registers automatically deduct the maximum amount of any B1G1 free coupons.

Walgreens was great for me.. plus I love that store more than any other because of the nice friendly cashiers!

  5. heights916 says:

well I did really good this week @ rite-aid,,,,but walgreens,,,no matter how many coupons or rewards I use together I always still pay to much..I’m thinking no more walgreens :((

  6. hubb6 says:

I think Rite Aid was the best this week! I was kinda disappointed to see little deals at Walgreens because I had some points and a $5/$30 coupon.

  7. nandranie says:

I got some really nice deal. No rite aid in Orlando I help mom in NY to shop at rite aid.

  8. Jana Kennedy says:

I tried using my 20% off coupon today with regular priced items that carried extrabucks. The machine beeped and she told me I can’t use it on any items that are on sale or that carry extrabucks. Is this new? I’ve always been able to use % off coupons as long as it was regular priced with extrabucks attached.

    • nandranie says:

Kcl always advice to add candy bar. I did the same and it beep but the cashier manually put it in.

    • sammygal says:

I’ve used my % off CVS coupons many times on non-sale items that earned ECBs many times!

    • Novi says:

My experience has been, the % off coupons that you get via email work fine with non-sale items that produce ECBs but the % off coupons from their ads will not work on non-sale items that produce ECBs.

  9. There is a cartwheel of 5% off all Windex products as well!

  10. Gilly says:

Wouldn’t the Windex be $0.50 or am I reading wrong?
