I wish my Target had Banana Boat for $6.49! I wanted to get some for my niece and they didn’t have the Kids rub on lotion just the spray and she hates the spray! And other Banana Boat lotions were $10.49 which is way more than I want to spend when I know I can get it cheaper! :-)

KCL do you know if there is a limit on how many times you can do this deal (or any gift card deal? Is it only once per transaction or once only period? Do they keep track if you use your red card?

i am trying to use cartwheel and am confused. Do you have to use a smartphone?

  8. jbanville says:

I’m new, so please excuse the ignorance. The Target coupon says “Limit one coupon or offer per guest”, so how do you stock up?

  9. Novi says:

I had a hard time with this deal at my local target (in the Houston, TX area) there were no promotional signs posted by the products but I thought I would give it a try anyways. The register did not prompt the gift card so the cashier pulled out the weekly ad and my store did feature that deal, so he pushed it through. But when I was leaving I noticed I was charged $7.99 not the $6.49 sale price. I stopped by customer service so that I could be refunded the difference in price and she was so rude and clearly didn’t want to hear what I had to say, even with the weekly ad in hand. I asked to speak with the manager and she said she was the manager. I asked to speak with a different manager and she said the other manager was on lunch. I wrote corporate so hopefully I can get my $3 (for the purchase of 2) refunded back

I tried this deal this morning, but our Target would NOT let me get the kids’ Banana Boat sunscreens. They said that only the adult versions were included in the sale, no matter how many times I showed them the ad that said ALL Banana Boat products. I’m going to try another local store later this afternoon and see what they say!
(And I apologize for the picture, I’m on hubby’s computer, LOL!)

If you don’t have the coupons, don’t give up yet! I only had two $1/1 coupons, but I headed to the store with a handful of Target coupons anyhow because even $3 each is a good price and we need sunscreen. When we got in the store, we found Banana Boat sunscreen with $1/1 coupons on them (held on with elastic bands over the neck of the can/bottle). I was excited! BUT then, when we checked out, every purchase of 2 generated a $3/2 catalina! So obviously we used those instead!

I am having an extremely hard time getting the cartwheel site to work. None of the links seem to work properly. Any tips on how to get everything up and running?

  13. I went to 2 Targets near me yesterday afternoon and they were both out although the coupons (Target and newspaper) say “any Banana Boat” products so I made sure I got one that was giving the $5 deal – lots to choose from. I got the Banana Boat Kids 50+ SPF in the family size spray can for $4.25 after coupons and the $5 gift cards. The guy at the check out told me they would do the deal 4 times in one order. So I spent just under $55 but I got $20 in gift cards and a great supply of sun spray. PS. I cant figure out iBotta or Cartwheel :-(

  14. an not get target coupons to print can anyone help
    I c

  15. couponjane says:

I bought 2 newspapers yesterday so I could do this deal and while both papers had redplum, neither had any banana boat coupons. :(

There is a $3/1 peelie for banana boat. I got mine at CVS on a gillette razor package. I got one of the razors and didn’t notice it was there until I got home. I should have since it was bright blue! MM :D I can’t wait to go to target this afternoon

  17. rachel says:

I have a question about cartwheel. Is it directly just associated with facebook? I dont have a facebook account.

  18. crandallcandy says:

Kcl, when you use cartwheel will it take off the 5% for more than 1 item as long as its done in one transaction? So if I wanted to get 4 sunscreens, will it take off 5% of all four? Thanks

  19. annajulia21 says:

i tried to install the target coupon thing, but none of the 3 of my computers can install it. and the java too. the new one seems not to work for those smartsource and redplum… helppp!!

  20. KrazyV says:

  23. stevenhayes says:

I printed the cartwheel on this multiple times, Looks like the barcode numbers are the same, Can i use the same barcode on 2 or 3 transactions?

    • dawn says:

I would say yes b/c it says limit 4 on almost all of the items…just as long as you don’t buy 4 in the first transaction…?

  24. renee1097 says:

Can someone explain how the cartwheel works?

  25. MIchelle says:

Is it possible to print the Cartwheel? if yes can someone help me because ive never used it before

    • KayKay says:

Are you using Cartwheel on your phone or computer? If you are using it on the computer (or you can probably log into your account on your computer) Click on “My Cartwheel” at the very top of the screen. This will show you the cartwheels you have selected, there should be a black link above the picutres of the items you selected that says “redeem in store” with a little picture of a barcode. When you click that a screen with a print button will come up. Print! The checkboxes are just for you to check while shopping as sort of a shopping list.

    • Yes, you can print your Cartwheel barcode to bring to the store and get scanned! Go to “my Cartwheel”. Then, click on “redeem in store”, which is located in the upper right. That will take you to a page that can be printed and scanned by a cashier. Hope that helps.

  26. Jessica Dearmon says:
