Is this promotion in all the states. Because my store in GA didn’t have signs by the product and I didn’t see it on the ad this week just last week. can someone help me!

Question? With the febreze, deal is this just certain Target stores? I am seeing this is good thru 7-13-13. I had gone to a Target store on 7-10-13, they had the price
as of $2.79, but there was nothing about getting the $5.00 gift card if you purchased 5 cans.

Reply

Its only on the 2.99 prices the 2.79 will not trigger the gift card

Reply

Yes but there $3.34 (still not a bad price) they have come that are chaper ($2.79 at my store) but those scents werent part of the GC deal.

Worked for me. I bought 11 items total on one transaction because of what the cashier did for me. I gave him 4 $3/2 to take care of 8 air effects and then 3 BOGO which made the 3 stick and refresh free

Reply

the bogo coupons, are they ringing up $3.99 like at cvs..?

Reply

Mine didn’t get adjusted either. The guy just let it go to the rest of my transaction. So I was a happy camper :) lol I only paid like under $2 for 5 items! That’s a great deal!

Reply

Can you explain how you did this?

Reply

I used the bogo coupons that came out a couple weeks ago. Then 1 $1 off 1 item coupon. The coupon says it will give you the free item up to $3.99. At Target, the coupon didn’t adjust to $2.99, it took the whole $3.99 and the guy just let it go in. So it actually saved me more money.

Reply

Sorry to be such a pain, but just to clarify: You purchased 5 items and used 2 BOGO and 1 $1/1?

Reply

Yes I did :)

Reply

IDK why people are disliking my comment when the person right above me said the same thing -_-* Wow…

Reply

my cashier the other day tried telling me that I couldn’t use the coupon on the ‘car vent clips’ products because they were so small they were considered a trial size.. anyone else find that a little ridiculous?

Reply

The coupon should work but I dont think those qualify for the $5 gc

Reply

Only the ones on price cut don’t count, the other ones do, though

If you’re going to do this deal, make sure you’re getting the correct kinds of Febreeze!! They’re marked $2.99 and the scents are lavender, Alaskan springtime, and something with mango. Those are the only 3 that are part of the promotion. I did this deal yesterday, it was FANTASTIC! I used two $3/2 coupons and one $1/1 coupon since I didn’t have three of the $3 coups. Bought 5 @ 2.99 =$14.95 – $7 (coups) = $7.95 OOP, and you get the $5 gift card, which is like getting it all for $2.95. That’s $.59 a bottle….can’t beat that! Stocked up for our new house :)

It’s always good to pay attention to the items included in promotions.

That’s awesome!

I recommend calling your store and letting them know.

You cannot combine two manufacturer coupons for the same items.

I planned on doing two transactions of 5 febreze each. I had 2 $3/2 and 1 BOGO for each transaction to cover 4 Air Effects and 1 stick and refresh. I also picked out the Air Effects that were price reduced to $2.79. When I got to the register though, it seemed that the price reduced wouldn’t trigger the $5 GC, glad I had him check first. I offered to go back and pick out different ones for $2.99 but he said it was no big deal and said he would just log a $5 coupon instead of worrying about the GC. I told him I wanted to do two transactions and he said no problem and put 2 $5 coupons on the total! Then as he started scanning my coupons I wasnt sure they would all works cuase it was so cheap. I ended up using all my coupons and paying 24 cents for 11 Febreze. What a lucky break that was. It pays to profile the cashiers sometimes I think.

Reply

My target lets me use a coupon even on the free items. So I bought five used 4 qs. The $3/2 went towards 4 items. I did 3 different transactions, one after another. If it would’ve beeped or given the cashier trouble I wouldn’t have done it. But I asked her to let’s try to see if it works & it did :). Hope this helps!!

So technically you’re using more than one coupon for an item. Its the same thing as buying two items and trying to use a bogo q and a $/2 q. If you only purchased 5 items you should have only been allowed to use two of the coupons only otherwise you start “double-dipping” . In order to use 4 qs one should purchase 8 products. Not trying to be mean dear you got a great deal, just saying its a ymmv situation and may not fly at every target.

Reply

I think its just wrong in general and no one should try it. the coupon specifies $3 on TWO not 1 item..

Reply

will that make them free?

I knew I should have gotten some sunday papers UGH!

Reply

At Wal-Mart they keep the Sunday papers there until they are gone. They also discount them. You can often find them all week long!

Reply

I think I have a better deal :). Buy 5-Use 2-BOGO & 2-$3/2. Subtotal is $2.97 before taxes for 5!! I did this deal 3 times and rolled the gift cards. Also used the 2 gift cards to do the tampax deal :) got 15 febreze products & 4 boxes of tampax for $8!!

Reply

Great find, thanks for sharing!

Reply

Did u do these all in th he same day n one transaction after another or….

Reply

Sorry-but I am confused. 2 BOGO Coupons=4 items, then 2 $3/2=4 items
for a purchase of 8 items?

Reply

im a bit confused as well o.o hopefully Ashlee comes backs to the thread and elaborates 😀 it does sound like an amazing deal!!

Reply

No she only purchased 5 items…not exactly sure this is right to do.

Reply

I think using 3 BOGO is better deal = 6 items

Reply

With this you would pay $9 for those 6 items. It is a great deal still at $3 after the GC but its better if you use 2 $3/2 and 1 BOGO for stick and refresh. That limits to 5 and you pay $6 or $1 after GC

Reply

Ashlee can you please elaborate for us :) its sounds like a great deal!!

Reply

Yeii more Febreeze !!!

Reply

I don’t follow. Why not use 2 $3/2 and 1 BOGO per transaction. That would be five items. The $3/2 is essentially a BOGO since they are $2.99 each. Then you pay $6ish per transaction or $1 after the GC

Reply

Shouldn’t it be….. Use TWO $3.00/2 Febreze Products,Limit 4 like coupons per household per day from PG 7/7 (exp 7/31) and ONE $1/1 Febreze Products,Limit 4 like coupons per household per day from PG 7/7 (exp 7/31)?

Reply

Never mind, the deal I found on another site said you only had to buy 5 Febreze. Now, I’m wondering if I need to adjust the transactions I had planned.

Reply

You only have to buy five to get the gift card. I think you could also use TWO $3.00/2 and ONE Buy One Get One Free Stick and Refresh From one of the sales ads from June I want to say it was 6/30

Reply

The six items are to use more than just two coupons. The coupon limits 4 “like” coupons and in this transaction you are only using 3. The deal states that you need at least five items, so we thought buying six would score the best deal with another high-value coupon.

Reply

Shouldn’t it be….”Use TWO $3.00/2 Febreze Products, Limit 4 like coupons per household per day from PG 7/7 (exp 7/31) and ONE $1/1 Febreze Product Limit 4 like coupons per household per day from PG 7/7 (exp 7/31)”?

Reply

Yes you can also do that!

Reply

Are candles included int this deal? I’m so low on candles! I seriously stocked up back in the beginning of the year but I only have one left and I keep holding out for a serious deal on them at Target

Reply

I don’t believe they are but you can call your local Target to double check!
