CVS Extreme Couponing (Week of 7/21): $5.00 or Less

CVS Extreme Couponing (Week of 7/21): $5.00 or LessWelcome to this post where we will lay out some extreme couponing deals that will cost you about $5.00 each week!

First, here’s everything you need to know about shopping at CVS: CVS allows one manufacturer coupon and one store coupon per product. You may use CVS ExtraBucks (EBs) in addition to these coupons. ExtraBucks are their rewards that are printed at the end of your cash register receipt. These coupons can be used on your next purchase. Remember, if there is a limit in the ad for the ExtraBucks items, this limit is per CVS ExtraCare Card. The best deals to be had at CVS are “ExtraBucks” offers.

The best thing about CVS is their rain checks, which include the “ExtraBuck” offers, so you can still get the offer when they have more stock! Get your CVS card so you can enjoy these extreme savings! Be sure and read the CVS coupon policy. You can also go here and review the CVS How-To Video.

you have the share it on FB, Twitter or Pinterest. There should be something that says “give me my coupon now” or “I’ll share to increase my coupon” something along those lines..

I went to use them last Friday when they we’re 2 for $6 and they wouldn’t take them at CVS. Went there the previous week when they we’re 2 for $5 and was able to use them with no problems.. I think it just depends on the cashier.

I used three of those coupons Wednesday at my local Publix and they were accepted with no problem – I used it on the “Run In – Run Out” deal – 6 bottles of Herbal Essence hair products met $19 of the $30.

Check out KCL’s post on the 20% coupon. As far as the 4 off 10—I think you can use both as long as you meet the requirements of both coupons for a total of $20.00. However it seems like some stores apply the rules differently so if you don’t know the rules at your store—it’s always good to ask so you don’t get an unwelcomed surprise at the register!

If you haven’t checked it out yet, check out KCL’s post for the 20% coupon and I think this deal is all laid out for you!

MOST stores honor what is known as the “98% rule” which means as long as you spend at least 98% of the required amount the EB will print; in this case it would be 98% of $12 or $11.76

When I purchased 3 Huggies diapers for 29.97 tonight I received a 20.00 ECB. In the ad, it states 5.00 ECB when you buy 15.00 and there is 2 offers. For some reason, i received a 20.00 ECB. THe CVS deals go live on Saturday after 6 PM so I tried it because the Huggies coupons expired today. Other shoppers on another website reported the same thing. I’m not sure if the ECBs tomorrow will be 10.00 or 20.00 but today I paid 1.00 for three packs of diapers.

I had a similar experience last night. I purchased two of the smaller bags of pull ups @ $9.99 each and used 2 ($2/1) coupons (also had a $5 ecb, and a $3/$15 mcm) I paid $8 and something oop and I received a $10.00 ecb. I was only expecting to get $5! Wish I would have had the rest of my pull up coupons along!! Awesome deal. Was almost a $2 mm!!!

I also purchased 3 huggies for $9.99 each and received $20 EB. I told my sister about receiving it and it didn’t work for her. She just received the $10 EB.

I just returned home from a trip to CVS.I tried to use the $2.50 coupon for the Kit Kat mimis. The young man told me the coupon was counterfeit and wouldn’t take it.I have read all the sites and have not heard of anyone having trouble with this coupon.Very tired of wasting paper, ink and my time printing legitimate coupons only to be told they are not. This young man is very hard to deal with and I try not to go when I know he is working.Oh well, I guess I’ll try another CVS in a nearby city,I was sooo wanting those. My sweet tooth is aching !!!!!!!!!

I had no problems at all using the coupon. CVS is usually so coupon friendly and helpful. Maybe you should call the 800 number for c/s and explain about the employee. I did once over another matter and the guy went way out of his way to compensate me and gave me a $2 EB for my trouble and he sure didn’t have to.

    • I would definitely call corporate!
