@KCL ..On the Gillette deal..you would technically only have to buy one shave gel right? because the total of the scenario above comes out to $36.34 before tax..

I got a 30% off one today good through Sunday, so curious on what coupons will be out Sunday!

Cheapest Venus razor at my store was 6.99 and the Gillette Fusion was 5.49. Still would have been a small moneymaker but then paying for tax would make it go over plus I would have had to purchase the shaving gel at one store and returned and rebuy with everything else bc both stores were short.

Can anyone tell me what kinds of things can be bought with the $4 off $20 cosmetics. Does this include shaving items and or lotion items? Also, what does the $2 off $5 facial skin care or cosmetics include? Also, does the beauty coupon not include lotions or shaving items?

The cheapest venus that the CVS I went to had was 7.29, the fusion was 9.79, & the hydragel was 5.79. I only had one $5 off Venus coupon, but I managed to use the 20% off coupon, a $1 ECB (that I got from buying the batteries b/c I was buying some anyway), a $1.50 ECB (that printed for me when I use the CVS coupon machine), the $5/1 Venus, a $3/1 Venus, a $3 Gillette coupon, & the BOGO hydragel coupon. I paid $12.67 but got $10 ECB so it was like getting everything for $2.67. It wasn’t a money maker but it was a pretty awesome deal!! Probably the best that I have gotten since I started couponing!! :)

I used my %20 Q on the venus deal and also the covergirl shadow. I also bought a box of culturelle probiotics 26.49 and I didnt get the %20 off the Culturelle, I will be returning for a alternate brand I have a Q for.

I live 5 min from 2 different stores. One is very coupon friendly but is always out of stock. The other has everything but dont want to take q’s like they’re suppose to. It is very frustrating!

generally it’s only good for one puchase.

Where can I get the 20% off CVS coupon

it doesn’t apply to the shaving items or hair care. Only make up and accessories.

Curious about that too. All my CVS emails are for the 25% sitewide too :/

I use to get the cvs coupon emails but it stopped sending me some for the last 4 weeks :(.

Me too.. I used to get them all the time and haven’t received one in a while. I always used them so I’m bummed I haven’t received one lately. There are a lot of good coupon match-ups with this 20% off coupon.

Well that stinks I don’t have those Venus ones anymore

I don’t believe that the $5/1 venus was in the P&G. It was in the red plum from 6/16

Was the Almay coupon regional?

I think it can still be a money maker if you get 5 of the 6.79 razors use 5 5.00 off coupons so it should be 33.95 subtract 25.00 = 8.95 get 10.00 back so 1.05 money maker. So fear not if you are like me and did not get your 20% off coupon.

can i use the 20% off coupon on multiple deals or do i have to choose only one of the deals you worked up to use it on?

You can do all of the deals but if you only have the one 20% coupon you will need to do them all in one transaction because the coupon is only good for one transaction.

One more question: does CVS & Walgreens take printed coupons & do they have a limit on how many you can use?

Best to ask the specific store you are shopping at but my stores will take one manufacturers coupon and one store coupon per item. My stores will take multiples of printed coupons but they do check to see if each have unique codes.

You can buy as much as you’d like in one transaction. Just keep in mind you can only use the 20% off one time, so throw everything in that one transaction to get your discount.

Ugh I get CVS emails all the time, but I never get them on Sundays!?!? What the heck?! :(

They usually send these on Thursday and the last day to print or send to card is Sunday :)

I signed up for their emails and never get anything from them. I don’t know why, I even check my spam but nothing there either.

These come on Thursdays. We just do our matchup on Sundays, with the new week’s ad (and the last day to print the coupon).

I don’t get them thurs either… :-/

There was also a $3 off Almay CVS coupon that printed last week, so if you are lucky enough to get it, that would make the Almay deal a money maker. I tried that today but realized my store doesn’t carry any of their lip products for some reason.

I also have a $7 off $35 beauty cpn. Do I need to spend the $35 before or after the 20% off cpn?

before

Spend the $35 before coupons. When using the 20% off with a purchase-based coupon ($7/$35), the percent will be calculated after the $7 reduction. HTH.

i got a coupon for $3 off $10 nivea a long time ago and it expires today. this morning at CVS I did this deal:
bought 2 Nivea lotion, one regular, one mens @ 7.49 each = 14.98
used $3 off $10 nivea CVS coupon = 11.98
used (2) $2 off nivea RP 6/23 = 7.98
got back $5 = 2.98
final price = $1.49 each!!! yay!! 😀
And I actually spent less because I paid with extra bucks.

was the $3 off 10 Q from the coupon machine or a printable for CVS only?

it was from the coupon machine. I got it over a month ago, been waiting to use it!!!

Is there a limit on what you use the 20% on? And, in what order should you provide your coupons? i.e. 20% off then CVS q’s the mfr q’s, etc

No matter what order you give your coupons to the cashier, the 20% off coupon will be applied after all manufacturer coupons and coupons from the ‘red coupon machine’, and extrabucks deals that you had sent to your care card. Also, the 20% off can not be used on sale items.

If you click the link where they write “Visit our Percent-off tutorial to learn all about how CVS percent-off coupons work!” They detail all of this information.

Like Lucky said, the tutorial has all the details. Normally percentage off coupons only apply to regular priced items. If I have a $5 off of $20 or similar coupon, I do that first before any other coupons. Also, if you have Beauty Rewards, the 20% will come off AFTER that discount has been applied. That isn’t the case with regular extrabucks.

Wish my CVS’s had more than just one of the $6.79 razor in stock. :(

I found doing a special order to be really easy at my CVS ;-)! If I call on Monday they usually get it by Thursday the same week.

I’ll have to try that! Thanks!

How many items do you order ahead of time? I remember reading about this on KCL but just assumed you’d have to order a ton of items to do it.

Nice!

Talked to my cvs. I would have to order by Saturday at latest. They get there trucks on Tuesdays :(

how exactly do you place the order? just call the store and ask for X number of the item you want? my CVS gets their orders on Thursdays as well.

That is what I do… I usually just ask for whatever I am needing :-). Another idea for a deal like this is to split it over two days. So instead of doing 4 and shave gel in one day. I’m planning to do 4 Venus razors on one day and a 5th on the second (to abide by coupon requirements). Fortunately CVS keeps track on your card so it doesn’t have to be done in one day :-). Since I special ordered the products they will hold them until I’m ready to purchase, so I don’t have to worry about doing it at once :-).

I bought two of the $10.99 Olay Razors and 2 of the shaving cream, which was priced at $5.29 at my store. I still paid less than $0.50 each, which isn’t a moneymaker but is still a great deal!

really wish there was a cvs by me! lol. :(

Who knows—you might soon! We just got our first one in Feb and there are 4 more going up here in the next year….so they appear to be expanding their ‘territory!’

Woohoo I got a ‘$5 off a $25 purchase’ coupon today from the RCM as well!

I really wish I still had by $5/1 Venus coupons :(

Same here. I used them all last night. :(
