It looks like this is going to be a monthly deal, with different Nice products on sale weekly. I saw next weeks ad and there are some great sales on Nice tableware, plastic stuff (their version of ziplock bags) and garbage bags. On the top of that section it says 2000 pts for $10.00 purchase of ANY Nice products (and ANY is in capital letters). Wish I had known about the plates and bowls sale next week before I bought some today!

I have the same question as Kevin. I bought two 24pks of water, five dozens of eggs and a gallon of Nice water for a total of 10.22, but my purchase didn’t generate 2,000 points. Called customer service and was told this promotion excludes dairy products. I can’t remember if the spend “$10 on Nice products get 2,000 points” sticker was underneath the eggs in my store. Anyone?

Eggs are considered Dairy at Walgreen’s and even on a day where they give a discount of 20% it will not apply to the eggs, nor will it count towards the threshold when using say a $2/$10 Walgreen’s coupon and technically can’t use a RR to pay with because of the Dairy inclusion but it can be a YMMV situation too which is what makes it frustrating so I would choose another item for the $10 threshold to save an anxiety, just not worth it.

Thanks, Dianne. I am going to keep the Nice! items I bought- still a good deal on eggs. Just wish my points had generated.

I wonder if the ‘eggs are dairy’ (which cracks me up by the way!) has to do with which state you are in? The signs are up by the eggs in one of my stores (they all had different things marked) and my transaction was just over $10.00 and that included 2 dozen eggs.

          • Erika says:

TY! You were right; cows do not lay eggs :D I called customer service again and the rep. believed it was the california redemption value charge for the water that through off the register.

wih egg is not working, almost everything to give you the 2000 is checked… with the note price…we buy eggs but my wife put another think like applesauce that come in 4.only one..we bought 3 pack of water 3 baking soda, one eggs 1 apple sauce without the eggs is 10.45

Interesting. Hmmm, must have to do with the state. I’ve done this deal a couple of times this weekend (only once with eggs) and the first time I bought 2 cases of water, 2 eggs, 2 baking soda and 3 individual pouches of nuts. My total was 10.11 and I got the points.

      • wfteresa says:

This really must be a state by state thing or something….discounts, stock ups and RR’s all work on eggs where I live. But I live in the Midwest so we definitely know the difference between cows and chickens! :)

They must consider water as dairy too, I bought 2 Nice water cases, 2 Nice cashews, and 1 bag of Nice animal crackers. My total was $10.97 and I still didn’t get the points.

      • Erika says:

After reading wfteresa’s comment about chicken and cows :) I realized the customer service rep. who helped me this morning considered my eggs dairy. I called again and Bingo!- got my points. This time, the representative I spoke with said it could’ve been the CRV charge (located underneath the water on the receipt) that through off the register, prompting it not to generate points. I’m not sure if this is your case. Either way I would call customer service and have them help you get your points.

    • My store had the eggs tagged with the Balance Rewards Points promotion. They are included!

Are the eggs really part of this promotion?

    • Yes! Just remember that you need to get to $10.00 AFTER accounting for the 20% discount in order to get the Points!

that true, sometime ago I take my mother and I did a new card for her so she can get the 20%off and because I bought some cream I bought $ 20.00 for the creams I was to get 5000 points and I had coupons and because I did not think about the 20%off was to make down the $20.00……so I did not get the 5000 point..
        cause the 20%
