When does this deal end KCL?

I bought 2 tresemme products and 2 suave products today and paid with 5000 pts and didnt reveive the points. So I asked the manager and he tried to help me to get the 4000 pts for the deals so he voided the transaction and tried it again and Im not sure what else he was doing but he told me to call CS. I called CS and they told me that 4000 pts were voided and so i explained the story to the CS lady and she added the 4000 pts. Now reading this, I forgot that you cannot pay with points to get points but I still got the 4000 pts.

You can’t pay for points if you are going to receive points.

How do you print the coupon out at Red Plum? Sorry ladies I am new and don’t have all of the techniques and acronyms down. Thanks! Aaron

Unfortunately, this is not a printable coupon; it came in the Sunday newspaper inserts. If a coupon is able to be printed and is listed in a post like this, it will be in blue and you can click on it and it takes you to the link for the coupon so you can print it. If you have a Rite Aids nearby, they are also having good deals on these products and you can do a Load2Card coupon (digital coupon tied to your RA rewards card) and also watch a very short video and print a RA coupon–check out the Rite Aid posts under the “Find My Store” tab above for more details.

This is a newspaper coupon.

Walmart also has 15 oz bottles of Tresemme shampoo and conditioner for $2.48. This Walgreens deal is for the 32oz bottles, which is a better deal at the end of the day, but if you don’t want to deal with the Balance Reward points or you just want them free up front, take your Qs to Walmart :)

So how do you use the coupons with this deal

At Walmart? The 15 oz bottles are 2.48 regular price, so you just take your 2.50/1 Tresemme base coupons to Wal-Mart and use them on the 15 oz bottles.

The offer says it is good on shampoo, conditioners, and stylers. Does that include the dry shampoo varieties?

Probably! Let us know if you try it!

This is a great product I can’t wait to shop at Walgreens for this sale!

Yay! Good luck!

We’ve been able to get this at Kent’s and Macey’s as a money maker! They are on sale 2.38! They are associated food stores.

On saturday night, I went to 2 different Walgreens and tried to do some couponing. The cashiers then informed that earlier that day, they had a corporate wide new policy stating that each customer can only use one coupon. The reason is that Walgreens has gone negative (I’m guesssing that means they are losing money?)
Honestly I think it is because some couponers have abused the system. Fake coupons, photo copying coupons, not following the limit and using the wrong coupon. It’s so sad how the selfishness of others affect all the honest ones that just want to save money for their family..

There is no corporate policy like that that we know of! Hopefully we won’t see that happening!

Here in So California cashier are have to check each coupon expiration date before they can scan the coupons which takes awhile. Some of the store are limiting the amount of coupon that can be use per transaction. Make even harder to us coupons

Hopefully my Wags doesn’t follow suit! They are so strict about limits (limit1) for everything already! So if you buy 2 of the same item (no RR printing for it, say the dawn hand soap deal) you can’t use 2 MC?
I hate the abusers too… They give us all a bad rap and make all the policies and rules that much stricter!! I use couponing as a way to save and stay in budget-otherwise we may have serious issues here… No way I could stay in the black without coupons!

could you ask the cashier for the website that lists the new corporate policy? If they don’t have a website, ask them for the phone number of the person to contact regarding the new corporate policy. Call them, and see if they can give you a website.

did not all inserts have the Tresemme coupons ? I didnt get one in mine

No. Most newspaper coupons are regional.

At my walgreens here in homestead fl they wont accept me two coupons of the same product per transaction! Whyyyy???

They should! I’m sorry. If possible, try a different store or a different time with another cashier.

the coupon does say limit one per purchase and max of two in shopping trip.

my Walgreens wouldn’t ring up the 2nd coupon either but the manager overrode it.

I rarely shop at Walgreens, so I have a question about the points. If I purchase 4 of the Tresemme’s and use coupons, will I get 4,000 points, or still only get 2,000 points?

You can earn as many BR points as long as you follow the coupon limits on the actual coupon.

Good call!

You will get 4000 points if you buy 4 but since the coupons states only two identical coupons on the same shopping trip, you may not be able to do it if the store enforces the coupon restriction.

You’ll get 4,000 Points!

Thanks everyone!!!!!!

Can you roll Balance Reward points?

Buy 2, get 2,000 points. Use those points to pay for another 2, get 2,000 more points and so on?

You cannot redeem and earn points in the same transaction

OK, Thanks!

You cannot. Click here to read more:

So if I buy 2 tresemme shampoos and get the points, can I redeem and still get the points if I buy the tresemme conditioner? Then repeat?

you can not use points as payment and earn points in the same transaction

You can’t earn and redeem Points in the same transaction.

I would like to know the same question, but I think she wants to know in the next transaction. For example, those 2,000 points from the 1st transaction will allow me to reach $5.00 and I redeem them in the second transaction. Will I get another 2,000 points for the 2nd transaction as well?

They’re saying you won’t get the other 2,000 points in Transaction #2 if you pay with points from #1.

is there a limit on how many times you can do this deal

I don’t believe so. A friend of mine stocked up on Mitchum when they were doing a Balance Rewards Points deal.

Thank you

Even there is no limit, managers can limit the quantities you are able to buy. They don’t want to run out of the product and have people complain about it. At my local Walgreens, the managers limit customers to two deals per visit.

Good explanation.

Lucky! Mine cut down to 1 deal per visit… And they get annoyed if they see you come in a few times in the same week. But at least there is enough stock for everyone (and not just the first person) which is what was happening at that store. A few people would take everything and it would be gone by Sunday afternoon…

i got da red plum and i didnt get da coupon

Most newspaper coupons are regional. I’m sorry you didn’t get it!

I have this same problem, sometimes I don’t get the good coupons that others do. I like in Oklahoma City and last weekend I went to Missouri so I bought a couple of their papers and yes, they had that coupon, then on my way home I bought a few in Tulsa, they did not have it. Then I had my paper when I got home and we had it here. Very weird. Just like the PG October saver insert was in Tulsa and Oklahoma City, but not In Missouri’s paper…..its weird but I am happy with what I get. Sometimes I get coupons that others don’t.

If I have a $2 Dentek RR can I use it purchasing this Tresemme deal and still receive the Tresemme RR? I understand I will need a filler in there too. TIA

yes you can :) as long as you have a filler, you can use the RR and get your points

This deal is for Points, not Register Rewards. But yes, you can use the Dentek Register Reward and earn the Points!
