Do you prefer the look of leather over fabric, rustic over traditional, casual over formal? If so, this industrial-chic den from Restoration Hardware may suit your taste. It features a luxurious leather sofa, a factory inspired coffee table and pharmacist lamp. Restoration Hardware charges $4,564 for these lovely items. By tracking down less expensive knockoffs from this inspiration room, expect to pay just $2,033. Saving: $2,531 or 55 percent.

 

 

The Lancaster Leather Sofa is made from luxurious Italian leather and features impeccable construction methods. The cost of the 84 inch sofa in the Italian Brompton Cocoa leather is $3,140. Although, a number of knockoffs are available in low grade leathers and leather matches, I decided to look for an item with comparable quality. The Dalton Leather Sofa by Lane Furniture features premium leather on all sides and quality construction for $1,535. Savings: $1,605 or 51 percent.

The Factory Cart Table from Restoration Hardware gives the room a unique, industrial vibe. Made from hardwood and cast iron wheels, this table will take any abuse you dish out. It measures 52” x 28” and costs $1,045. Almost identical in appearance and size, the Factory Cocktail Table by Homelegance is a fraction of the price at $399. Savings: $646, or 62 percent.

Illuminating this family space is the Atelier Task Floor Lamp inspired by pharmacy lamps from the early 1900s. It features an articulating arm perfect for reading. The bronze lamp is $379. The Julian Apothecary Floor Lamp from Ballard Designs is similar in style and color for only $99. Savings: $280, or 74 percent.
