Super excited to share my first big haul! Firstly I need to explain that I have a Walgreens discount, so all of these purchases are 15% off retail, which is reflected in my savings. [All prices used in the following math are directly from my receipts and therefore include the discount.] Without the discount I would have paid about $61 OOP. I started out with a $2 RR and 8,000pts from previous shopping trips. Transaction #1: + Cookie Crisp 11.25oz – $2.27 + Reeses Puffs 13oz – $2.27 + Honey Nut Cheerios 12.25oz – $2.26 – $1/2 MFC [select GM cereals] – $0.50/1 Honey Nut Cheerios OOP: $5.30 Received $3 RR [on 3 General Mills cereals] Transaction #2: + Trident Gum – $0.84 + Trident Gum – FREE + Nexxus Youth Renewal Elixir .94oz – $8.07 – $2/1 Nexxus MFC [found on the bottles in-store!] – $3 RR from Transaction #1 OOP: $3.91 Received 5,000pts [on 1 Nexxus product] Discovered that even the clearance Nexxus products give rewards points! Transaction #3: + Nexxus Humectress Conditioner 5.1oz – $8.92 – $2/1 Nexxus MFC OOP: $7.41 Received 5,000pts [on 1 Nexxus product] Transaction #4: + Eucerin Intensive Hand Cream 2.7oz – $4.25 + Eucerin Intensive Hand Cream 2.7oz – $4.25 + Aquaphor Healing Ointment Mini Jar 0.25oz – $2.20 + Aquaphor Lip Repair 0.35oz – $4.67 + Aquaphor Lip Repair 0.35oz – $4.67 – $2/1 Aquaphor MFC – $2/1 Aquaphor MFC – $1.50/1 Eucerin MFC – $1.50/1 Eucerin MFC – Redeemed 10,000pts for $10 off OOP: $4.14 Received $10 RR [when you spend $20 on select Eucerin/Aquaphor products] Transaction #5: + Trident – $0.84 + Trident – FREE + Nexxus Humectress Conditioner 13.5oz – $14.87 + Nexxus Hydralight Conditioner 13.5oz – $14.44 – $2/1 Nexxus MFC – $2/1 Nexxus MFC – $2 RR from past trip – $10 RR from Transaction #4 OOP: $15.81 Received 10,000pts [on 2 Nexxus products] Not sure why my receipt says the Nexxus items have “free 1oz hairspray” because the “free gift” included with both of them is actually the full-sized 10oz Comb Thru hairspray that retails for $12! Transaction #6: + Gillette Fusion Proglide Flex Ball Manual Razor – $7.64 each x 4 = $30.56 – $3/1 Gillette MFC x 4 – Redeemed 18,000 pts for $20 off OOP: $0.24!!! Received $10 RR/SC There was some trouble with the RR from the Gillette purchase [spend $30, get $10 RR], but the manager at my store took the time to try a few things in order to get my RR for me. He tried several combinations of items pictured in the ad [exact items!] in a few dummy transactions and no matter what he tried he couldn’t get the RR to print! Thankfully he was very understanding of my frustration with the issue and gave me a $10 store credit in place of the RR. Transaction #7: + CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser 8oz – $10.19 + CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion 8oz – $5.09 – $3/1 CeraVe MFC – $3/1 CeraVe MFC – $10 SC [replacement for RR in Transaction #6 OOP: $0.12!!! Transaction #8: +Covergirl Glosstinis Nail Polish 0.11oz – clearance $1.27 x 4 = $5.08 – $2.50/2 Covergirl Nail x 2 OOP: $0.36!!! This transaction was a bit of “let’s see if this works!” I didn’t know if the clearances nail polishes were a qualified item for the coupon or not. The coupon wouldn’t scan at the register as it “didn’t match,” but my cashier just looked at the coupon carefully, looked at the items and decided that it looked right and applied them manually without me asking! I lucked out and now I have some great stocking stuffers. 😀 I only paid $37.78 OOP for this all. And I got two freebie hairsprays on my Nexxus purchase which are sold on the shelf for $12 each! If anyone needs more details, I’ll do my best. Thanks for enjoying my brag with me! 😀
