Attempted the “just pay tax” method, that some of you do. I didn’t know that CVS 30% Coupon didn’t work on sale items. I only had one non sale item on my list, and the cashier let me know that the register wouldn’t allow anymore coupons to be used. I, too, had made $17.14 disappear. Except, had the 30% math had worked, it would have been 100%.

-1 mfr coupon 1.50 (coupons.com) for Oral B Pro Health Pulsar Toothbrush

-1 CVS Extracare bucks 5.00

– 1 CVS Coupon $4 off $14 Oral Hygiene 4.00

5 items

Subtotal  4.17

tax            .65

Final total: 4.82 (for me. Everyone’s tax is different).

Received $1ECB, $4ECB

Saved $17.14 or 80%

Could have paid: $21.96, but didn’t.

Thinking about it… 4.17/5 = .84 per an item. (!!!)

And received $5.00 ECB back.  So I paid 4.17, and my ECB coupon came back to me. 😀
