Rolling, Rolling, Rolling at Wags
Transaction #1 $.14
Transaction #2 $.14
Transaction #3 $.14
Transaction #4 $11.62 Money Maker
Transaction #5 $.14
Transaction #6 $.14
Transaction #7 $3.50 Money Maker
Transaction #9 $1.86
Transaction #10 $1.86
Transaction #11 $1.00

Total OOP was $9.70 Money Maker including tax! This including multiple stores and multiple trasactions over 3 days. Started out this week with 34180 points from the Almay deal a couple weeks ago.

I did the Venus Deal Buy 1 Razor and 2 Shave Gels 3 times.
Venus $6.49 and Shave Cream $3.49 X2 = Total w/ Tax $14.64
Used $3 MQ and 2 .75 MQ – Total $10.14 (Rolled $10 in points on all three deals) so total out of pocket was .14 X 3 deals = .42 cents for 3 Razors and 6 Shave creams. I count my tax when considering if a Money Maker but some people don’t have tax.
Then I saw the deal today with the free Brookside nut and fruit bars so I decided to roll my Register Rewards into point.
1st transaction
Bought 37 Brookside Bars (was only going to buy 30 but when ringing up the charry pomegranate flavor only rang up for .49. (12 X .49 and 25 X 1.00) total came to $30.88. Rolled my $30 (3 $10 RR) and paid .88 out of pocket. I received 37,300 points for the bar, 5200 bonus points. (5000 for spending $20 and I think the other random points are everyday points and bonus everyday points) I know my count is off for buying 3 but just wanted to get over the $30 to use my register rewards. So total in points was 42,500 and only paid $30.88 so about $11.62 Money Maker. Actually a little more the way Walgreens works their rewards because I have enough for $50 reward if I spend it all in one transaction (40,000 points).
So total money maker after 4 transactions was $11.20 after tax.
I then rolled my points and did the Venus deal 2 more times for a total OOP of .28.
Then rolled my rewards and bought 25 more Brookside bars for $20 with 2 $10 RR for $20.92 OOP and received 24,000 points plus 410 bonus points (8 were cherry so only .49) Total Money Maker is about $3.50.
Then rolled my points again and bought the Gillette Fusion Razors and 2 Shave Gels (did 2X) $7.99 for Razor and $3.99 for Shave less $3.00 MQ and $2.00 MQ for Shave Gel (I got these on a Catalina that printed a few weeks ago) along with a .50 MQ for the shave gel. Total with tax was $17.36. After Coupons total was $11.86. Used points so paid $1.86 on each transaction.
Then rolled my register rewards and bought 21 more Brookside bars for $20 with 2 $10 RR for $1.00 OOP and received 21,880 points plus 220 bonus points so about even paying the $1 OOP

I got 51 in 4 transactions and before the criticism we have a family of 7 so definitely is not for stockpile is just for snacking and who cares as of We have to pay money out of pocket it’s not like just going to cash register and getting a receipt for $0.00 and walking away with all cash in wallet and the bars and bag. Why can’t others be happy for others that get the deal ? I couldn’t get a Beauty Deal at Target because there’s nothing in stock but I don’t complain on the rest that got the deal at least I could get the Starbucks deal Lets just be happy for others and be happy that KCL helps us a lot saving money organizing deals for us Sorry but it’s true

I have five kids who all love to snack. So I completely understand, I would of bought them out pretty much if we had a walgreens in our town. Without a second thought!

They were only advertised at two of my stores so I would just try it.. Should work. Just buy 3 and see if they ring up at a $1 each and you should get 3000 points for every three.

I will try it, thank you! 😉

Kim, don’t even worry about, how could anyone say leave something for other couponers when they don’t even know if you are going to the same store? My area is the same, some stores have zero on shells but when I drive further to a different store, they have more than enough! Thank you for sharing as yes this section is for sharing not criticizing.

Thanks Mirela! I appreciate your comment! Happy Couponing!

seriously, good job but theres never anything left whenever i go either. Save some for others. I know thats great that you have a huge stockpile now but itd be nice if others could as well. Maybe next time be a little more considerate and save some for other couponers.

As I have said earlier in another comment. My Walgreens had stock all week and I did this over a whole week at multiple stores and on multiple days. The last razor deals I did to finish this deal was at 8:00 p.m. Saturday night at two different Walgreens and one even still had the $6.49 Razors in stock. I am lucky enough to have 5 Walgreens within 10 minutes of my house and another 3 within 20 minutes of my house. I always only do one transaction (which most of my stores have a limit of one transaction on the good deals) and only buy items that I or my family members will use. I am a courteous couponer and will wait until an item is out of stock to get a raincheck if I don’t need the item right away so others can have the current deal. I honestly don’t know you and you don’t know me so I would appreciate not being called inconsiderate when I am not! Thanks

It’s not her job to worry about the stores stock, non couponers never give a second thought when shopping, but all of a sudden couponers have to do the managers job of worrying about the stores stock? :/

Thanks Megan! I appreciate your response! I should not feel guilty for buying items my family uses. The sad thing is that my stores all still had stock Saturday night when I did my last two deals so there was still plenty of deals to be had if others had wanted. We all live in different areas and different access to stores. I have 8 within a 20 or so minute drive and 5 within 10 minutes. That is why I can do multiple deals on multiple days. I am not doing them all at one store and in one day. This brag section is where we are supposed to be able to “brag” without being critized or be called inconsiderate. As someone else posted, we should be more worried about those couponers who are using coupons fraudently than berating people for taking advantage of a good deal.

No wonder Walgreens hardly ever has anything in stock when I go.

I did these deals through yesterday when the deal needed on the razors and all 5 of my stores had stock. I never cleared a shelve at any of the stores. There were still
Plenty of the bars even though the sale is thru 10/1. As I stated in the post, I shop multiple stores over multiple days.

Hey Kim where are the bars located? Couldn’t find them in my store?

Reply

I found the bars in two different locations at two of the stores, first on an end cap by the soda and nuts and also in the snack aisle that has candy and other goodies. The other three stores they were in a side end cap that said eating healthy by the grocery food. HTH

How did you get the RR for $10? You did awesome!!! Thanks for sharing!!

Reply

Thanks.. The $10 RR was the buy one razor and 2 shave cream deal that ended last night. It took me all week to do everything but still
Wanted to post it even though the deal is over now.

Reply

Did you use your reward points to pay for the shaving cream and razors and still get 10 in RR?

Reply

Great job – love the Venus swirl deal. Have 15 b/c getting a new razor is so much cheaper than buying the refills.

Thanks… I know.. Never find really
Good deals on the cartridges.
