My first ever couponing haul + price matched. Originally 7.40 overage but had to pay taxes so it came out to 9.74

I’m confused. My Wal Mart ad matches the lowest advertised price and the lowest advertised price on most ads is the price after coupons. If it is approved by the cashier and the manager, how would this lady be in the wrong??

That is completely wrong….If you are going in to price match it to the price AFTER coupons and then you try to use the coupon, you are not doing it the right way……even if you weren’t going to use the coupon and you still want the price in the ad after coupons, that is wrong….these stores get money from the manufacturers when we use their coupons, and if you are using the price AFTER a coupon, that store is not getting that money….does that make sense now? You’re basically ripping the store off if you “double” the coupon amount

basically, that is NOT the lowest advertised price….that is the lowest advertised price AFTER coupons….meaning they should be smart enough to know they will get ripped off if they approve a wrong price match…..

I’m sure price matching was done incorrectly if you had an overage of $7.40 and you purchased all that supposedly. Hopefully you didn’t do like some people and and take an ad to Walmart and they matched it after coupons what ad shows like some people and cashiers are incorrectly doing.

How do you do the price matching? Do you just show the price from other retail store that listed online to the cashier?
