This shopping trip is from just before Christmas. I was on a mission to shop four stores with $4, and I did it! Here are the details:

Walgreens:

I paid with $5 in ECB from last week’s Almay Deal
Plus the remaining $4.42 from my $10 gift card for purchasing $30 of select products 2 weeks ago
Final Out of Pocket $.46
I also got $1 ECB back, and have now bought 6 packages of Huggies, so I earned 1 FREE!!!

Wal-Mart:

The best part about coupons at Wal-Mart is they allow overages. Tonight, I knew I would be able to use my 4 $3/1 Kikkoman Panko Breadcrumbs or Sauce Coupon for a product priced less than the coupon. I went with 4 different sauces; two were priced at $1.82 each, the other two were $2.08 each. This gave me an overage of $4.20 to start with!

What makes this even better? I returned two packages of Christmas ornament hooks for a refund of $2.04, so my actual out of pocket was only $.50. To be fair, I won’t count that in my total for the night since I did spend the money in the first place.
