CVS is hands down my new favorite store to shop for toiletries and household goods. My general rule is to only use Extra Bucks on purchases that reward you with more Extra Bucks. It’s paying off!

Today I bought 4 bags of laundry pods and only spent $0.55 OOP – AND I got back $5 in EB. Here’s the math:

4 bags Gain/Tide pods – $3.94/ea = $15.76
I used:
4 $2/1 Gain/Tide pods from PG 11/1
$2.25 EB from previous trip (Kotex and Propel)
$5 off $15 purchase emailed coupon from CVS

Total OOP: $.55
Total savings (coupons and sales): $21.45 – 98%
Profit: $4.45 in EB
