Last week I bought a bunch of the Bayer meters to donate but also to cash in on the $5 RR. Sunday night I used one of my $5 RR to buy my 3 year old a costume on clearance for $4.99 and out comes a $10/$35 catalina that expired yesterday. Last night I stopped by my nearest Walgreens because I rememebered seeing some good clearance finds, here’s what I bought:

  • Olay facial cleanser Re. $8.79 on clearance for $4.39
  • Breathe Right kids strips Reg. $6.49 on clearance for $3.29
  • (2) Ocean Spray Craisins (love these in my salad) Reg. $2.29 on clearance for $1.14=$2.28 for 2
  • Lil Remendies kids nasal Reg. $7.99 on clearance for $3.99
  • Butterball Turkey Bacon Reg. $1.59 on sale $1.29
  • (2) Cottonelle Toilet paper $5.00 each =$10.00
  • (4) Halls Cough drops Reg. 2.39 each on sale $1.39 each =$5.56
  • (2) Nice Pistachios my son met me after Football practice and threw them in my basket $.99 each=$1.98 for 2

Total before coupons $37.78 before tax

Coupons Used:

  • $10 off $35 purchase Walgreens catalina
  • (2) $1.00 off 2 Halls MQ
  • $0.50 off 2 Chex Mix
  • $.40 off Cottonelle only had 1 MQ
  • (2) $1.00 off Cottonelle Walgreens Coupon book
  • $1.00 off Lil Remedies printable
  • $1.50 any Breathe Right
  • $2.00 Olay
  • And I used (3) of my $5 RR from the Bayer meters

I gained an additional 500 points because of the Chex Mix, a catalina for $1.00 off Breathe Right and they had more so I might go back and get some.

My total OOP was $3.28 before tax and $5.09 after tax. Not to bad I think for the Bay Area, the only problem I had was the cashier never seems to want to scan my coupons and she takes the longest time. The manager told her to accept all of my coupons because I am a regular and knows me by now. I think they must have had people coming in there trying to scam them.
