“We do not honor
Prices from Walmart Marketplace Retailers or the Marketplace Retailers of competitors, third-party sellers, Auctions or sites requiring membership”

Those prices are from amazons marketplace (third party sellers). Not Amazon.com (who is a specific retailer). This is why nobody else has success.

Seriously. That cashier is going to get in trouble for that. They specifically changed the policy to exclude third party sellers due to this issue. Our cashiers here include the shipping cost in the price. So it’s only a good price sold directly from Amazon.com for free shipping.

Wow! At my local walmart they will only honor an online price for the purchase of a single item. At my local target they will only let me do one transaction with coupons per day per household. I started using coupons two weeks ago and I’m very happy with the savings, but I have not had a huge haul of anything, much less made money back.

I can’t believe Walmart would allow someone to buy anything for $0.01, this is why a bunch are going to stop price matching. People abuse the system or downright lie about prices and the cashiers don’t check.

Exactly

I went to 4 Wal-Mart’s yesterday and they all refused to honor this because the .01 price from Amazon was being shipped thru a 3rd party vendor. They ONLY would honor it if it is being shipped by Amazon themself but not Amazon prime. Hope this helps.

I found all these deals on Amazon too but my Wal-Mart cashier wouldn’t price match because it is a third party seller it’s just a matter of getting an employee who doesn’t care and puts it through.

Amazon.com is not part of a third party exclusion, it’s specifically included in their policy :

Online retailers are limited to: Academy.com, Amazon.com, Autozone.com, Babiesrus.com, Basspro.com, Bedbathandbeyond.com, Bestbuy.com, Cabelas.com, Dickssportinggoods.com, Dollargeneral.com, Familydollar.com, Homedepot.com, Jcpenney.com, Kmart.com, Kohls.com, Lowes.com, Michaels.com, Newegg.com, Officedepot.com, Oreillyauto.com, Pepboys.com, Petco.com, Petsmart.com, Sears.com, SportsAuthority.com, Staples.com, Target.com, Tigerdirect.com, Toysrus.com, Walgreens.com, Walmart.com

I can’t remember which item I saw on amazon for .05 cents. But it said it was from the item’s company. Will walmart still price match it?

Reply

My Walmart didnt match the price bc it seel through Amazon but third party, sooo sad

I think she got lucky. She used the / count price instead of the actual price. For example; a 60 count is 17.50 …..17.50÷ 60…..that’s .29/count…meaning per capsule. I can’t believe someone didn’t catch it. If you try it and it works, it’s not truthful. If you try it and it doesn’t, then you look stupid.

All you did here was price matching Amazon? No coupons ? I’m impressed!
