You know you’ve been a loyal customer at CVS when you walk in at 8:01am and a cashier shouts across the floor: “Good morning, Mr. XXXXX!” 🙂

Today, I finally got to use a raincheck (Trolli sour candy) for the first time. Let’s say, I’m not a big fan of it. It’s more trouble than it’s worth because not only is it confusing to the cashier but the transaction has to be rung separately so they could give you the correct ECB. I think I might stay away from asking for rainchecks in the future.

MINUS COUPONS ($12.25) & ECB USED ($15.00): $27.25
TOTAL RETAIL MINUS COUPONS/ECB: $14.37
PLUS TAX: $3.34
OUT OF POCKET COST: $17.71

But I did get $22.00 ECB back to use for my next trip so it’s actually FREE ($17.71 – $22.00 }.

I am up $4.29 on this trip.
