Hey Pat, you mentioned expired coupons. If you are not in the military and are done with them, donate to the military. The families can accept out of date coupons for several months beyond expiration.

I wish I could do this well with couponing. Still new and trying to figure it out!

If you wouldnt of bought the cards how much would you get back ? If any . Im just starting yhis coupon thing and im going crazy !

The cards were technically free. 1.99 each = $12- (2) 3/3 mfc. Paid $6, and got back $6 in extrabucks. So I would have gotten back $6 less in eb, but I would not have spent $6 in eb from my previous shopping trip. So if I hadn’t gotten them, my total would not have been affected since they were technically free. I hope that makes sense!

You’re on the right site! KCL is so amazing and organized. I began about 3 years ago during my 1st pregnancy. I’m a PRO now. My favorite places to coupon are Target, CVS, Rite Aid & Walgreens. A nearby apartment complex has a recycle bin next to the mailbox center. Most residents just throw the coupon inserts away as junk mail. I go by on Wednesday or Thursday of each week and get about 5 of each insert out the recycle bin (Red Plum, Smart Source). I have a grocery bag that I stack them in, in date order. Then I scroll through KCL every few days to check out new deals. They tell you exactly which insert and date to visit to clip the coupons for the deal. I do that and go rack up. It saves so much time. Just randomly clipping is too time consuming for me.

Around every four months I throw out the old inserts in my bag(s) because most coupons will have expired. I also skim them when I first pick them up to see if there are any coupons I want to use right away for products I usually buy (without a huge deal attached).
