In the CVS ad this week beside the herbal essence sale price of $3.49 it states “Get a free Herbal Essence up to a $4.99 value when you buy any Herbal Essence shampoo, conditioner, or styler. Which is essentially BOGO free! I had to explain my theory on the ad to the cashier 3 times but finally got approval from the manager. Pair it with the BOGO FREE coupon from the Sunday paper and get both totally free! I paid tax only on 4 shampoos and 4 conditioners!!

Great deal, thanks for the tip 😉

It’s not a deal. Cvs is just letting people know that there is a bogo free coupon in the paper, it is not bogo free at cvs as well. If you look at the revlon makeup ad it states the same thing because well there is a bogo free coupon out, not because revlon is bogo free at cvs.

Also there’s a * by the free so read the fine print on the bottom of ad and it will state that this is only if you have the manufacturer coupon

I dont understand how you only had to pay tax, because technically you would have had to buy atleast one, then using the MFGC and the CVS AD deal, you would have gotten 2 more for free, so really it should have been 3 HE products for $3.49….. Please correct if im wrong.

Hey that was smart lol and that should teach cvs to be a little more careful next time or whoever does there adds

It should say in the ad that is a coupon in the paper. Cvs does not have the bogo sale going on, it is referring to the coupon in this weeks paper

How? Wasn’t it just $3.49 off for the 1 bottle that was free?
