One occasion, I play a numbers game, where I try to get several products all under $20.00 Out of Pocket (OOP). Sometimes, I succeed, and sometimes I goof, and fail miserably.

So the moral of today’s trip: if you have CVS coupons on you CVS CARD, Remember them.

Alright, let’s begin.

Total: $5.72, Received $4ECB, 6ECBs

If we add all of the totals, we reach $23.44, way over my goal. Had I remembered that $4 off of $10 coupon on my card, it would have been $20.96.

I still would have exceeded my goal of "being under $20", but here's another thing that I noticed about CVS: the internet prices and the store prices sometimes differ. For instance, the razors that I bought were 11.99 online, but at the store, they were 13.49. There was a $1.53 difference. Even some of the dental products weren't the same price, and so I had to crunch numbers in the store, until something worked out.

Over all, I learned that I could have paid $87.15 for all of these products, but I didn't. I only paid $23.33. I will be kicking myself for that extra $2.48 because of the missed coupon, but that's life. $63.71 is still a heck of a savings, and I still have $10 ECBs. Whoo-hoo!
