Even A Mini-Haul can be Complicated! But Hey! Still saved 67% oop

Here’s my little haul, if you can even call it a haul.. 6 items!! I had this problem, I had $20.50 from my 2% spending (yes, I spent about $1,025 last spending period but I saved a lot too.). There wasn’t much extra-bucks deals going on (and very few coupons in the inserts today) but I wanted to roll my bucks as much as I could. I went in with my list and was hoping to spend about $5 + tax, based on the online price of DremaSilk and Cover-Girl. My out-of-pocket ended up as $13 more than that, which is okay because I didn’t want to spend more than $20 and at least I met that goal.

You would think this transaction would go smoothly being only 6 items… but a manger had to be called because my 2% extra-bucks was too big and somehow the transaction before mine was put on my total (the transaction was voided because the person didn’t have their cvs-card & had extra-bucks). As I was walking out, I was looking on my receipt and it showed 7 items. Turned around and got my refund. and everything was all good 🙂
