I always use coupons for everything but this was my first time using the +Up rewards at Rite Aid.
Here’s the details:

1st transaction-
Spend $20 on Charmin/Bounty/Tide and get $5 in rewards.
So, I got 2 packs of Charmin ($10 each), which I found out was a good price when I compared that to other stores. I then used the $5 reward immediately as advised by many people — see below

2nd transaction-
Cascade – on sale at $3.99 (but of course I had a coupon for $1/1!), making it $2.99
nail polish $1.99
Total $4.98
This put me at 2 cents short of the $5. I threw in the mints which were $1.49.
Total $6.47

$5 +Up Rewards
$1 manufacturers coupon
Total $1.64 tax included
Grand total $21.64 for all items pictured
I realize now there were cheaper things I could have bought to pay even less. But, everything will get used and I think I did well for the 1st time!!!
Thank you for all the tips, I have learned a lot!!
