always pads. They’re on sale at Kroger for $2.49 as part of the buy 4 get $4 sale. I bought two and I used a digital coupon from the Kroger app for $3.00 off of 2, plus another manufacturer coupon for .50 off that I printed from coupons.com. A total of $3.50 off of $4.98. Which brought the deal to 2 for $1.48 or .74 a pack.

I agree and she probably knew it was a manufacturer coupon on the app and did this purposely. I’m seeing way more brags people using too many coupons and we wonder why stores crack down or look at the ones who are honest like criminals if a coupon beeps or something.

Exactly! In my area there were a hand full of us who for years and years have used coupons, including my mother! Then it became super popular and everything has changed. You see more people treating it like a way to steal or cheat a system designed to help. My mother, who has used coupons since her college days doesn’t even bother with grocery shopping anymore. Policies keep changing, coupon values go down, and even with limits printed clearly on the coupons, or clear and stated rules such as no stacking multiple mfq it seems to never stop. The biggest let down, and the reason I stopped following KCL for a couple years was because of the brag section and when you wrote them about these brags they did nothing. I only started following again because they started (and in better detail then other blogs) listing deals for the stores I shop at most. I love the brag section for the legit deals that people find and love to support other people, but it’s such a drag to always see stuff like this. With as much respect this blog gets you would think they would be on top of these kinds of posts.

you’re aware that digi and paper coupons aren’t stackable correct? the kroger digi’s are MFQ and you used it with “another mfq i printed off coupons.com”

…. one day i really wish the people at kcl would focus on stuff like this and stop letting brags slip through that aren’t even legit. at least you’re getting cheap products though right?

Are all Kroger digital coupons manufacturer coupons? I thought there were some that were store specific. How are you supposed to tell? I’m still pretty new to couponing so I’m still trying to learn stuff like this.

Yes unless it states that it is a Kroger coupon. In the details of the coupon it will tell you. In my area (middle tn) the only Kroger coupons I’ve ever seen are mailed to you every month or rarely in the paper or a random mail flyer.
