This was from last week!

Rite Aid-
Got 8 tubes of Colgate for FREE!
On sale for $3.50. Used (8) $2.50 off in-ad coupons and (8) $1.00 off Colgate manufacturers coupons.
Paid- $1.68 in taxes.

Kroger-
1. Got (14) bottles of Suave Men’s shampoo on sale for $.99 wyb 5. Used (14) $1.00 Suave men’s coupons.
2. Got (1) bottle of Suave Gold Professionals for $1.99, used this as a filler since I didn’t have any more men’s coupons. Used a $1.50 off 1 Coupon.
Paid- $1.30

Walmart-
1. Found Axe shampoo on sale for $1.50. Bought (4) bottles and had a $2.00 overage. I later went back and bought 7 more because I found more coupons!
2. Found (2) L’oreal sublime lotions on sale for $1.50 and had 2 $2.00 coupons for a $1.00 overage. Tried to submit it to Ibotta but it said it didn’t match so I’m going to email them.
3. Found (luckily!) Almay eye makeup remover wipes. Bought (4) and used a $5.00/2 coupon from coupons.com for an overage of $2.35 per 2.
4. Bought (2) summers eve products for 2.74 and had 2 $2.00/1 coupons.
5. Rubbermaid premier container. Retailed for $7.64, had a $3.00 coupon but with my overages and tax, my total was -.77! The cashier was so confused when she saw she owes me money!

CVS-
I had separate transactions for my ECBs to roll.
Trans #1- Bought (3) packs of Pampers for 8.99. Used 3 $3.00/1 coupons. Spend $25 on P&G products and get $7 ECBs.
Wet-and-wild nail polish. Was $4.79, had a $2.00 coupon and got $3 ECBs back.
Used $5/$25 diaper purchase, $6/$30 purchase, and $5 ECBs from the week before for a total of $10.01 with tax and got $10 ECBs back!
Trans #2- Got (2) Skintimate shaving gels for $3.49 each. Used 2 $1.00/1 coupons and got $5 ECBs back.
Trans #3- Bought (2) Bic Soleil razors for $6.99 each, used 2 $3.00/1 coupons and $3/$10 razor purchase and got $2 ECBs.
Trans #4- Bought (4) L’Oreal hair care products for 2/$8 and had 4 $2.00/1 coupons. Total was $16 and I used a $3/$15 hair care purchase and a $5/$15 purchase making them FREE AND got back $5 ECBs. I also got a box of Puffs for $.99 and used a $.25 coupon in hopes that I still had a rebate for $1.00 but I didn’t so I just kept them.

Target-
I only got (2) multipacks of Colgate Max Fresh (the only kind my husband will use despite my 50 tubes in my stockpile) for 2/$5 and used 2 $1/1 coupons making each tube $0.75. I personally wouldn’t buy it that expensive but wanted to get some for him to use later.

That was my week! I took my Mother-in-law with my on my trips so she could see that I actually wasn’t “wasting my time by actually spending money and not saying the true cost to everyone that knew I couponed”…. Or something like that 😉

Good job!! Wished I could find some deals like some of ya find on here (excluding the ones in the ads). I guess where I live they don’t put much on clearance or sale : (

I had to go 2 states away for a family event and found them there! My stores have awful clearance too 🙁

Oh ok lol. I’m moving in November so hopefully where I move to they have good deals.

So if i bought 15 of shampoo and i got a cvs coupon for 3\15 and 5/15 can use them both? Even if its not 30?

Reply

Were they both for shampoo only or one for shampoo and one for any $15 purchase?

Reply

no! no you can not! its in the coupon policy and there have been plenty of times that KCL has posted the answer to this …. if you are using 2 cvs coupons that’s are $xx.xx off $xx.xx then they need to be the combined total amount. for example $3 off $15 hair and $5 off $15 anything your total needs to be at $30.00 not $15.00!!!!!!!

My CVS says it’s allowed and I follow what they tell me. If the computer allows it to be scanned then they do it. I don’t “abuse the system” by cheating the store. I’ve asked several times before using these coupons.

Last week I was buying shampoo and I had a coupon that was about to expire from the machine for $3/15 and the cashier was looking at the newer offers on my card on her screen and SHE asked me if I wanted to use a second $3/15 that was on my card. So obviously she thought it was okay and their system allowed it. I honestly didn’t even think about it being a problem.

I’m really getting annoyed at how people ABUSE cvs coupons for extra savings! people like this brag abuse post and teach others to abuse the coupons. then we wonder why the coupon policy changed or stores judge all couponers as thieves. this is the prime example as to why!

Calling other couponers thieves is an awful thing to do. If we check with the store and the store allows it, how can we know that it’s not allowed? There are several times I’ve pulled out the policy and the store won’t allow it and other things they do allow. We don’t create the rules but when I ask for a specific rule and am told that I can use both, I’m going to use those coupons. That falls back on the store and can hurt us, but being rude to each other is more damaging. If you don’t like it, file a complaint with CVS, not my post. If you can say something with kind words, then maybe people will listen to you more. We are all about helping each other, not bashing.
