Little load, big savings!

I thought I was done grocery shopping this week (even though I forgot to buy pepperoni when I went shopping) but then a coupon site brought to my attention that I missed a GREAT deal (even without coupons) on fruit snacks this week, and today was the last day of the sale. So I went to Giant Eagle to amend my shopping errors.

1 20-ct Snuggle dryer sheets $1.99 on sale
+ $.50/1 coupon that doubled, making these $.99 🙂

1 pack of sandwich pepperoni $2.39, not on sale at all.

1 pack of Giant Eagle hot dog buns $.99 on sale

2 packs of Oscar Mayer bun length hot dogs BOGO free on sale, or $3.98 for 2 packs.
+ $.75/2 coupon from SmartSource that doubled, making these $2.48 for both packs or $1.24 each.

1 Starbucks refresher drink $1.99
+ the free Starbucks refresher coupon from the Pepsi Moments insert made this FREE 🙂

4 boxes of Betty Crocker fruit snacks (2 Fruit Roll-ups, 1 Fruit-by-theFoot variety pack, 1 Ocean Spray) at 4 for $4.
+ $1/1 Ocean Spray printable from everydaysaver. com made my Ocean Sprays free, and I paid $3 for 4 boxes of fruit snacks!

My total for all of this was $9.95, and considering I only had a few coupons, I felt stunned that I got so much for less than a $10 bill, tax included. My savings with sales and coupons was $13.97–more than my total.

Then I stopped at Walgreens for just one item (although I meant to bring another Starbucks coupon and get a free drink here too; pregnancy brain botched that one).

+ $.75/1 coupon

Paid: 2.98 and got back $1.50 Register Rewards 🙂

All things considered, I was happy with my little supplement shopping trip.
