if you’re reading this then prepare yourself for a novel! lol
We were about 30 min out of town today seeing the new Secret Life of Pets movie and afterwards we decided to stop by the Walmart there real quick.. And I’m glad we did! I found all of this in their clearance section, I’ve learned from past experiences at Walmart that the sticker price means NOTHING, so I headed over to the price checker and I wish someone would have taken a video of the look on my face when these Gillette razors popped up for $1! The Unstoppables candle was $3.50, Tena pads for $2 and 1 Revlon polish was $2 and one was $3 (everything was clearance price).
I paired it all with the following newspaper coupons:
4 $3 off Gillette razor
2 $3 off Revlon nail polish
1 $2 off Tena product
And had a printable $2 off Unstoppables candle coupon from coupons.com

Then things got complicated lol this isn’t a Walmart I usually shop at, so before I got to the register I went ahead and pulled out my copy of their coupon policy (luckily) because my cashier rang everything up and then the Unstoppables coupon wasn’t wanting to go through (even though the EXACT same candle is what’s pictured on it), so she called over a manager who then showed up TWENTY MINUTES LATER, yes I stood there with an impatient 5 year old and angry customers behind me for TWENTY minutes! and when she got there she told me that whenever a PRINTED Internet coupon won’t scan in, they aren’t allowed to override it or type it in (first time I’ve ever heard that) but considering I had waited on her for that long, she said she’d let me use it just this time- okay one problem solved. Then things got even better, she told me my total was $6.73 and stood there and waited on me to pay her, yes she was actually going to LET me pay her. So I pointed out that my total was -$6.73 (after the tax was deducted) and that they actually owed me money and she told me that they aren’t allowed to give any money back and they aren’t allowed to give ANY products for free, that you are required to always pay something (I’m still talking about the MANAGER btw), I asked her if this was something recent since their policy says otherwise and she said no, that that had always been the case. so I had to hand her the coupon policy and read the part that clearly says they will give you back the overage in cash and after she JERKED it from my hand she told the cashier to just give me the money and that she would be sure to go and clarify that with another manager so it wouldn’t happen again. Smh, so 30 minutes later, I finally left with my free products and my $6.73! I’m not usually one to stand my ground in these situations but considering I’m a single mother working a minimum wage job, $6.73 is quite a bit of money for me to just walk away from. *And from my understanding* I did everything by the rules, so it makes me highly upset that I have to go through this much trouble to make one simple transaction!
