Hi Everyone. So one of my goals was to buy high priced items all under $20. I am not perfect as a couponer, but a 78.5 savings isn’t bad either. I use Coupons.com, 1 Stayfree.com coupon, and 1 Snickers Facebook promo coupon.
FYI: I have $7 ECB, $5 ECB from last week.
Transaction #1
1) Boost Nutrition Drinks B1 G1 50% off, Buy 4 Get $10 EB (Priced at 9.99/ 6 pk & $7.98/4pk)
MFC $2.00 (x3)
MFC $3.00 (x1)
I bought 4 ($9.99 + $4.99 + $9.99 + $3.99) and the total came out to be $28.96. Now subtract my $9.oo in MFC, it is: $19.96.
2) Stayfree Sanitary Pads @ $2.99
MFC $1.00
I bought one at $2.99 minus my $1.00/1, final: $1.99
So $19.96 + $1.99 = $21.95
But my goal is to be under $20, and therefore I use my existing $7 ECB & $5ECB to bring it down a bit.
$21.95 – (7+5 ECB) = $9.95 TOTAL , Receive $10 ECB
I paid $9.95 and earned $10ECBs.

Transaction #2
1) Playtex Glide 360 @ 7.99 Get 3 ECB
MFC B1G1Free
Paid $3.995/2 & Received $3ECB
2). Pantene Pro V 3/$12
MFC: $2.00/1 (x2)
(I goofed, I had a 1.25 MFC that ended up being for an item not on sale. I am kicking myself for this, because I could have saved more. Don’t be me. Quad-triple check everything).
Paid: $8.00/3
3. Snickers .88 cents each
MFC: B1G1 Free
Paid .44/2
So $7.99 + $8.00 + $.88 = $16.87
I then took the $10 ECBs that I had earned in Transaction #1 ($10), and subtracted it from my total:
$16.87 – $10 ECB = $6.87 TOTAL and received $3ECB

Grand Total of (Transaction #1) and (Transaction #2) is $16.82
Of course, the state of CA believes in taxes, so the GT w/ 9% tax would be: $19.44. I put the numbers sans tax, because each city, county, state has their own % for taxes. I received $3ECB in the end, and it will go to a future transaction. I don’t believe in counting them into my totals. They’re like a coupon to me.
I paid $16.82 for $77.48 worth of products. A 78.5 % savings!
(I don’t need Shampoo or Feminine products for another year or two. Hooray)!
