Newbie but starting to get the hang of it at Kmart

I have been couponing for a month now, and I think I am starting to get the hang of it.

Today’s trip got me this score for $6.54 OOP.

used:
(1)$1/2 Lipton Tea
(2) $1/2 Pepsi Next
(1)$1/2 Lays Chips
(1)$1/1 V8 Fusion

These coupons all doubled. I then used
in store coupon for free apple juice, and buy the ground beef for 2.99 and get sauce and noodles free.

My total at this point was 16.54. I then used two $5 gift cards that I had accumulated last week for spending $50 during two separate visits.

Making my total OOP 6.54. It would have been less if I had remembered I had $7 on my rewards card. But I guess this is were being a newbie plays a part.
