Receipts

I am still very new to couponing, but this has been one of my most successful trips as I really focused on keeping it small.  I got very lucky, but am noticing that my understanding of the coupon policy is wrong – I can’t stack digital wellness+ coupons on top of my printed MFR coupons. I will save my coupons for less than $1.00 for Harris Teeter sales instead, when I can, and just use the loaded coupons. In this case, at least it helped me earn back more +UP.

Transaction 1:

Advil Cold and Sinus, 20 ct. Retail $8.99
wellness+ discount $4.99MFR $3 Off
$1 +UP cashed in.

Total: $.99, earned $1 +UP! and a $4 off 20 coupon from the receipt printer, just for me!
Note. Advil Cold and Sinus has a controlled substance, so you may have restrictions. In my case, I was limited to purchasing exactly one. I don’t usually do separate transactions, but this time it worked in my favor. I had to purchase this at the pharmacy counter as well.

Transaction 2:

Tide Laundry Detergent 32 loads, Reg 9.99, sale 5.94.

Net: $2.01 out of my pocket!!!

Next, I plan to focus on cleaning supplies and continue to fill out my food stash with timely sales. I pick up fresh foods each week in a farm share, but couponing for things to fill that out really really helps. My pantry has never been so full and it’s been just a month since I started doing this. And it’s so fun matching everything up. I may go back this week to grab a sale on men’s body wash and Tampax, using e-coupons and the +UP I’ve earned. Although I’m not sure if the register will deduct ecoupons before taking +Up dollars. Any insights?
